What You Will Do
This walking tour digs into why the 1893 World’s Fair captures our imagination more than any other event in Chicago history. On the tour, you'll visit some of the few remaining and spectacular buildings from the time of the World’s Fair. The fairgrounds themselves were south of downtown and are long gone. You can still uncover the imprint of the fair in the landscape and architecture of downtown Chicago, now 125 years later. With just intermittent walks outside, the 1893 World’s Fair Tour is a great walking tour in all seasons.
