A Highly Recommended Tour in a Tranquil Setting - This is a highly recommended tour. Mitaki-dera is filled with a serene atmosphere, and learning how this remote area is deeply connected to the atomic bombing was truly meaningful. With the guide’s clear explanations, the calm surroundings—so different from central Hiroshima—offered a chance to slow down, reflect, and feel refreshed both mentally and emotionally.

Nature, History, and Peace in One Tour - It’s a quiet and magical place that’s hard to believe is in the middle of Hiroshima. You can really feel the ancient Japanese spiritual atmosphere, and even today it’s a peaceful place that local people cherish. Through this tour, I learned so much about the history of Mitaki-dera that I had never known before, and it gave me a whole new way of seeing Hiroshima. Riding public transportation was also a fun part of the experience, and since it’s only a few stops away, it wasn’t tiring at all. Being surrounded by nature felt wonderful, and I enjoyed a gentle, mini hiking experience that refreshed both my mind and body. I truly think this tour will become very popular!

Peace Park and Mitaki Temple Peace Tour - After touring important places in Peace Park and listening to the story of the Hiroshima atomic bomb, we took a bus to Mitaki Temple, located 2 kilometers away from Hiroshima city center at the foot of a mountain. At Mitaki Temple, where many buildings that were damaged by the atomic bomb remain, we were able to enjoy the beautiful autumn leaves, reflect on Hiroshima's past, and spend a peaceful time paying tribute to the stone Buddha statues and other relics of ancient times.

The tour for peace and reflection - I was truly moved by Mitaki Temple! The autumn leaves were still beautiful, and I was delighted to enjoy the stunning red colors as we walked higher up the mountain. Thanks to a guide, I enjoyed the visit many times more than I would have on my own. It is also a spot related to the atomic bombing, and I deeply realized that Hiroshima is a place where people desire peace. The sound of the three waterfalls was very solemn and majestic, making it a truly Japanese location where you could feel the austere beauty. What a sacred place! Since there weren't many tourists, I felt completely at peace. It is definitely a must-visit spot that I would highly recommend. Without a guide, I would never have understood the stories and significance of the place. I am so glad I participated in this tour!

Peaceful Tour - Unlike the Peace Memorial Park or Miyajima, Mitaki Temple is a different place where visitors can enjoy tranquility, though it is closed to the central part of the city. This temple is not only a Buddhism facility but holds some memorials related to the atomic bomb. Visitors can feel a part of the history of Hiroshima.

Amazing place, highly recommend! - Tough not so many foreign people know this place yet, very nice place. Very Japanese environment with a lot of nature. It's better to visit with a small group of a few people. Because the path is not so wide and tranquil.

The tour provides a deep insight into its history. - I've I've visited Mitaki-dera Temple several times before, but this tour sparked even greater interest. I gained insights into its history that surpassed what I could find online or on informational boards, reinforcing my view of its significance. It's also a stunning location, and exploring for Buddha statues and small shrines feels like a delightful treasure hunt.visited Mitaki-dera Temple several times before, but this tour sparked even greater interest. Tours with beautiful natural beauty and precious experiences - I was able to feel the damage caused by the atomic bomb from a different angle than being able to enjoy the nature of Japan and negative ions. I think this tour is a valuable opportunity to discover two things: that there is a beautiful place called Mitaki-dera in Hiroshima, and that you can also learn about the story of the atomic bomb there.

Fantastic experience - I had the chance to participate in the guided tour while Yuki san was introducing her to future guides. In two stays of about a month in Japan, it remains one of my best experiences. I've learned a lot about it. If I hadn't met the band, I would have walked through the site without being aware of its history, without being able to experience its depth. The links with the bombing are incredible and some stories upsetting. Beyond the bomb, it is above all a nice complex of Buddhist temples hidden on the mountainside that is worth a visit if only to enjoy its surroundings and the soothing atmosphere that emerges. As well as views of Hiroshima from the top of Mt. It is very shaded, so nice to do in summer (note that you have to walk well to get there), and it seems that the autumn colors are beautiful. The tour is in English. I wasn't sure I was going to Mitaki Dera when I came back to Hiroshima. Now I think I should have done it sooner! ^^ Thanks again.
