Amazing Cultural Experience! - We were on a study trip in Japan and I took 6 high school students to see this theatre performance! We all loved it and it was a highlight of our trip! A copy of the storyline was provided to us in English and there were English subtitles above the performers as they spoke. Highly recommend seeing a Kagura theatre performance here in Hiroshima, it’s amazing!

A exciting traditional performance for those of any age, not to be missed. A highlight of our trip. - One of the highlights of our trip. An exciting performance. Music, gorgeous costumes, fast action dancing. Explanation of performance in printed English notes and subtitles on stage. Met with performers after show. Recommend for any age.

Remarkable Performance and Mythology - If you are in Hiroshima on any given Wednesday, please...do not miss the Hiroshima Kagura Performance. This is truly a unique and spectacular show of dance, music, singing and mythology, wrapped in the most sumptuous costumes, wigs and masks. The building is modern and has easy access close to the Atomic Dome. There is a small selection of souvenirs to purchase in the Foyer before and after the performance. Do yourself a favour and purchase the Backstage Pass too, there are only about 20 tickets available per performance. There are English subtitles above the stage area. Staging itself is simple, but the costumes, dance performance and story telling transport you to a different place and time. All the cast are volunteers and devote so much time and effort to keep this ancient tradition alive. Highest recommendation!

Amazing Live Performance in a Stunning Theater - This was such an amazing experience! The staff was great and very friendly. The stage was beautiful and the seats were very comfortable. I loved the play! The music was beautiful, the actors were so agile and expressive, and the special effects were spectacular. Such a great experience. I would go again in a heartbeat!

Inspiring dance, mesmerising costumes. - This is an interpretative dance show taking approximately 45 minutes. English subtitles are provided but not really necessary as there is very limited spoken word, and you are provided with a written synopsis of the legend in English ahead of the show. The music and dance were very impressive and the costumes were outright stunning. For our performance, there was an opportunity to take photos with the performers afterwards, including an option to take a photo whilst wearing a costume.

Go see a wonderful show! - This show was incredible! I would highly recommend going to see it, you will not be disappointed. The speakers at the beginning explained the story you were about to see very well. And the sub-titles were awesome!
