Very detailed explanation - We met Alex in the lobby of our hotel! It was a very accessible and impressive tour of Hiroschima. We got a very detailed explanation which only got us quieter and quieter We ended up at the museum where we could process all the information we had received throughout the tour with very catchy footage. We are extremely excited about Alex and the tour!

Our guide Alex was great!... - Our guide Alex was great! He communicated with me well in advance of the tour date and throughout. He met us right at the train station and walked us from there. Also - he was flexible / accommodating with our schedule and interests. Hiroshima experience was better than I thought it would be. Peace Park and the museum are top notch! We learned a lot!

Great guided tour in Hiroshima - We visited Hiroshims in Jan 2026, we arranged a guided tour, Alex was our guide. The tour was super interesting... Alex guided us through beautiful garden, memorial snd a small museum of the beaten track. Alex was engaging and made the whole experience very enjoyable for all of us (me, my wife, in our 50's, daughter 23, son 24). The tour finished at the peace museum, which we had visited the previous day.

Engaging, Thoughtful and Rewarding - Alex provided a wonderful experience on this tour. He shared his detailed knowledge of Hiroshima and its history and each of the locations we visited in a straightforward, approachable, and easily understood way. He also provided deeper and valuable insights from multiple perspectives as a resident, community member, and parent of a young family living close by to many of the places on the tour. Besides the listed tour locations, we visited other places significant to the story of Hiroshima's rebuilding after WWII, and we greatly appreciated the additional depth this provided to our experience. Even our lunchtime meal of local cuisine held interesting insights and cultural lessons, wonderfully explained by Alex. I think this tour was the perfect introduction for our first visit to the city, and I can easily recommend it to other visitors looking for an engaging and thoughtful experience in Hiroshima.

Hiroshima history and stories- not to be missed on a visit to Japan - Alex is an experienced guide who lives in Hiroshima and thus knows the area well. His English is perfect and easy to understand, something not to take for granted in Japan. We spent four hours with him at all the major sites of The Peace Park and its surroundings and git a good feeling for the area and stories surrounding it. I highly recommend that you hire him to enhance your understanding of what happened in Japan at the close of WW2.

Fantastic personal tour - Alex was so helpful straight from the start. He was flexible when we needed to change our meeting time and even came to our hotel to meet which was so helpful as newcomers to Hiroshima. He knowledge about the whole city was fantastic and we saw things we never would have found ourselves. I would definately recommend Alex for anyone wanting a personal tour.
