Fantastic Tour Experience! - The tour was absolutely amazing! Our driver, Patrick, was not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable — he shared so many fascinating stories and insights along the way. The car was very comfortable, and Patrick’s great driving made the journey up and down the hills both safe and exciting. We saw a lot of beautiful sights, had lunch at the highest pub, and even met a lovely local woman who told us a wonderful story that made the day even more special. I can’t recommend this tour enough! The experience was worth every penny — great value for what you see and learn.

An unforgettable experience with Roof of Africa – and a guide who captured our hearts! - Our tour of the Sani Pass was simply magical and we owe this not least to the great organization of Roof of Africa and our guide Siya. From the first moment we felt in good hands: on time pickup, a comfortable vehicle and a process that was perfectly tailored to our needs. Siya was more than just a driver. He was a warm host, a patient explainer and an attentive companion. With a lot of knowledge, humor and sensitivity, he led us through the spectacular mountains, introduced us to the culture of Lesotho and even provided animal surprises: A baboon family in the middle of the road; dad, mom and baby piggyback, just to be amazed! The tour was safe, informative and full of small moments that touched us deeply. Roof of Africa has a real gem in the team 🥰Siya is a guide you could only wish for. Thank you for this experience 👌🏼we will never forget it!

The most amazing day trip, up the Sani Pass and into Lesotho, with a fantastic guide. - We were picked up before 9am, got our forms for the Lesotho border in order, then set off up the Sani Pass. Our guide, Tsebo, was exceptionally knowledgable, telling us about the history of the area, and of the Sani Pass, as well as all about the flora and the fauna on the way, so we could take photos. A coffee and crunchie stop half way up. The road is fascinating, all the hair-pin bends, carved into the mountain sides, and the views are outstanding. Visiting a Lesotho village at the top and learning more about the history of the people there was great, and they dressed up my daughter Lesotho style! You can buy crafts and warm Basotho blankets there too. We were then taken for a warm buffet lunch, and then visited the highest pub in Africa! What a treat! This trip will appeal to anyone loving adventure, nature, history, good scenery, or just someone who is wanting to do something totally different. You get 4 passport stamps in your passport that day, and Lesotho requires 6 more months on your passport before the expiry date. We were back at our hotel at around 4pm. I would definitely highly recommend this trip!

Wonderful experience in Lesotho thanks to Roof of Africa Tours - Wonderful experience going to Lesotho via the stunning Sani Pass from Durban with two amazing guides, Hossana and Peter. Lesotho is an extraordinary country. It looked and felt more like the steppes of Mongolia than Africa. The tour took me to villages where we met local people, learning about their unique culture and way of life. We also rode horses through the arid landscape, took a hike, and had lunch at the highest pub in Africa. The accommodation was perfect with a private garden and delicious food. The team at Roof of Africa were so easy to communicate with when organising the trip from Australia. As a solo traveller, Britney was very accommodating, providing options and advice to suit my interests. I highly recommend Roof of Africa. A very professional tour company focused on their customers.

Highly recommend!! - We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend it! Peter, our guide and driver, was helpful, funny, and very knowledgeable. The little extra touches, like stopping for coffee and cookies, were such a thoughtful addition and really appreciated. We also loved the delicious lunch at the pub before our journey back down the pass. Overall, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish!
