Embark on a delightful two-and-a-half-hour journey aboard your own private boat. A Master Captain will expertly navigate you through the Calibogue on a receding tide to the isle. This mile-long sandbar is revealed for just a few hours each day, offering beachcombers the opportunity to gather sand dollars, seashells, and occasionally, a shark’s tooth….

This mile-long sandbar is revealed for just a few hours each day, offering beachcombers the opportunity to gather sand dollars, seashells, and occasionally, a shark’s tooth.
The tour includes stops to observe wild dolphins frolicking in the sound. Information about the island, the salt marsh, and the surrounding ecosystem will be shared. Your Captain, a Lowcountry Master Naturalist, will also help identify the various shells, mollusks, and other invertebrates encountered during the tour!
This excursion is perfect for families and small groups. With a capacity of up to 6 passengers, there is ample space onboard and a comfortable seat for everyone.
