Great time! - What a great tour. Boat ride was fabulous and learning all about our neighboring island was exciting. Definitely recommend this over getting your own golf cart and going around the island alone.

It was a great way to learn and see Dafuskie Island - Captain Pete was excellent. He was a wealth of knowledge. We enjoyed the boat ride from Hilton Head and the tour of Dafuskie Island with the narrated history of slavery.

Daufuskie with Capt Pete - We had a great time with Capt Pete! Very knowledgeable about island history, local wildlife and Gullah history. He also shared information on good reads pertaining to the area and other local trivia we wouldn’t have known about. Felt like there was something for everyone. Very good outing!

A Fun Educational Day - Our tour was lead by Captain Pete Barbano. It was slightly delayed for a few hours due to the weather but when we arrived at the new time, Captain Pete pleasantly greeted our party of 4. Captain Pete was very knowledgeable of the coast we traveled and the history of Daufuskie Island and its native people. The tour consisted of a fun boat ride and then a golf cart tour around the island. The tour was absolutely awesome and well worth the money and we plan on doing this again and again when friends and family visit. Thank you Captain Pete for the fun day and learning experience. You ROCK!!!

Just fantastic! - Captain Pete was an exceptional guide. He is obviously very passionate about what he does, and we learned so much during the tour. The island was beautiful, and it really felt like taking a step back in time. If you want to step away from the beach for a little while I strongly recommend this tour.
