All voyages occur entirely under sail, with the engine only being used for departure and arrival in Harbour Town.

Additional Information
- We don’t offer any infant rates for this trip as the tickets are a per person rate. All ages will need a ticket.
- Stars & Stripes is USCG approved to carry up to 30 passengers, but since COVID we have limited public capacity to 20 passengers.
- Private charters are available for Stars & Stripes. Please contact Vagabond Cruise if you are interested to learn more about this option.

Stars & Stripes is located in Harbour Town Yacht Basin just below the lighthouse. Check-in for this sail will be at the Vagabond Cruise reservation office just to the left of the Harbour Town Lighthouse.

Cancelled Trip but got to take great photos! - The trip was cancelled due to bad weather but we enjoyed meeting the Captain and Crew. We took photos on the sailboat. We look forward to rescheduling next year.

A wonderful experience for couples! - Had a a wonderful time with the captain and his helpers. My boyfriend and I were able to pilot the boat and we even saw dolphins swimming next to us. It was quite the experience. Would recommend this experience to everyone!

Great day - Was my husbands 77 birthday . He loves sailboats so it was my gift to him. It was a beautiful day with blue skies and perfect temperatures. Staff was great and the captain was amusing and nice

Whole experience was alot... - Whole experience was alot of fun. You can choose to help raise the sail and drive the boat or just sit and relax.

Perfect day sail on the Stars & Stripes! - My husband and I recently took a 4 pm trip and had such a pleasant sail! The crew and Captain Peter are so friendly and welcoming to everyone. They engaged with everyone on the boat and took lots of pictures for each group. They invited people to assist the crew and took time to explain the mechanics of the boat as well as tell local stories about Hilton Head. As a result of their hospitality, everyone on the boat engaged with one another. We had a fabulous time! Highly recommend this activity!

Stars and Stripes 12 meter Sail - Loved it!! - We sailed on the Stars and Stripes which won the 1987 America's Cup Race. Great staff and Captain Peter was awesome! A beautiful sunset and a school of dolphins escorted us back! Would highly recommend this adventure!

Great Value! - This was an amazing trip. The crew was friendly and knowledgeable. Captain Peter was great. This was a fantastic value for the price. As a bonus we saw many sea turtles and dolphins and tons of jellyfish. It was fun to take a turn helping the crew raise the sails and man the helm.

Great sail! Always loved... - Great sail! Always loved being on sailboats and this was one of my best experiences. The crew was helpful and accommodating. Even had a chance to steer the boat.
