Setting Sail on the Black Dagger

They engaged the kids with stories of hidden treasure and the notorious Stinky Pete, who had stolen the key to our treasure chest. My 5-year-old was completely captivated, hanging on every word and eager to participate in the quest.

As we sailed, Captain Bones dropped buoys into the water, which the children excitedly retrieved. Each buoy held a surprise, from secret messages to pirate “grog” and even a treasure chest. The highlight, however, was the encounter with Stinky Pete. When his pirate flag appeared on the horizon, the kids sprang into action, manning the water cannons to soak him until he surrendered the key. Stinky Pete was a great sport, getting thoroughly drenched and eventually tossing the keys back to us.

A Birthday to Remember

The adventure was particularly special for my 5-year-old, as it coincided with his birthday. The crew made sure to make him feel extra special, with “Squirt” presenting him with a pirate flag as a birthday gift. It was a heartwarming gesture that added a personal touch to the experience.
