A perfect day in paradise - I found this tour online when checking options for a Rottnest visit. We were picked up near our hotel and taken to Hillary's where we boarded the ferry. The crossing was pleasant and comfortable even though the ferry was very full! We had a couple of hours to wander around and have lunch before boarding our Bayseeker Tour bus for an informative trip around the island. We had a few stops and enjoyed the bus driver's commentary about the history of the island and its present day usage. He even took us to one of his favourite spots to find quokkas in the wild. Later, in the village, we enjoyed an Ice Cream at Simmo's before boarding the ferry for our return crossing. Once back at Hillary's we met our bus for the trip back to our pickup point. The whole day was extremley well organised and great value for money.

Highly recommend! - Well organised and the bus tour was great. The bus driver was very informative and gave us a good laugh too. We would never have seen as much of the island without the tour as our cycling days are well behind us. We enjoyed the ferry rides and all in all had a great day.

Best Option Fast Ferry From Hillarys - This is the fastest nicest way to go, easy. Free parking, nice staff... great boat. Don't forget to rent bikes beforehand they sell out, there are hills so ebike is best!

Fantastic Day - We had a fantastic day. The boat ride was fantastic and all on time. We booked the train separately and had ample time to connect with our bus tour as well. The quokkas were very friendly. Highly recommend this tour.

What a great day,!! great views, great food, real history. Highly Recommended - A sensational day !! Some much to see, exceptional ocean views. So much historical information from Australian days gone by; historical buildings telling stories of what happened is this part of Australia. The Island has lovely walks, bike rides, tour guides taking you on bus rides talking about the multitude of things to see and do.A super day to see and do or simply relax, go safe swimming, snorkelling or enjoying the many beautiful beaches.

Great day on a beautiful island. - A great day on the island and a lovely history lesson while driving around. Enjoyed a scenic flight, walked comfortably around, and the tour took us to some beautiful spots, watched wildlife, learned some interesting things and rested in air-conditioned comfort.

Good day ouy - First went to Rottnest in 1997, and a few times since, the bus service is good but they are too large for the small roads and put the many cyclists in a dangerous position. Also too much development taking place. The natural areas are quite fantastic, the beaches offer safe and shallow swimming. Quokkas , dolphins seals and pelicans are a marvel to see all in just one day. I will return. $170 for both.

Refine the tour. - On the whole I thought the tour was good value and I learnt some interesting information about Rottnest Island. The Ferry ride was enjoyable as was the train/tram journey to the war relics and it was great to see Quokkas in natural bushland. Provided lunch appropriate. However the bus trip around the island was too long with not enough stops or time for interesting points. eg. Osprey nest. Additionally the bus drivers continual comments re his 'amazing' wife and their experiences with Rottnest were overdone and not always interesting or appropriate. I also consider there was too much focus on Rottnest history re the last war and not nearly enough about the history of our First Nations People on Rottnest. This needs to be addressed.
