- Anamuya - After leaving the typical house we headed to enjoy a delicious typical Dominican lunch near the Anamuya River.
- Anamuya - After lunch we will take the road to the cigarette factory.
- Rancho Real Cigars - At this stop you will enjoy a delicious cigar, you will also be able to see the process of making it. You will have the opportunity to make your own cigar if you wish.
- Macao - After enjoying a good cigar and a drink of mamajuana, we headed towards Macao beach, a short 25-minute journey.
- Macao Beach - Macao Beach: The most beautiful beach in the east. Here you will have a few minutes to relax a little and have a pina colada if you wish (not included in the package).

Dominican cultural experience. - This tour immersed us into the Dominican culture. Teo is a great tour guide and very knowledgeable about everything in the area. The horse ride through the pasture was well organized and gentle horses. It was neat to see the church and downtown Higuey. The authentic Dominican Republic dinner tasted homemade and superb after eating only resort food for days. The demonstration on how the locals make coffee and cocoa from their own trees was great to experience. The stop at Macao beach was beautiful. The tour indicates a half day, but we were picked up from our resort at 8 am and dropped off at 3 pm, there was a lot packed into the day! And are van driver did an awesome job getting us through the traffic and cities.

The best experience - I really enjoyed this excursion. I recommend it to anyone that’s going into the Dominican Republic. The tour guide was fabulous. His name was Toeflo. He is awesome explaining everything that he showed us on the trip. If you would like to know anything about the Dominican Republic cultural, this is a great excursion to take no lie that man knows everything about his country.

Nice day out with a great guide Teo - Lovely half day out with interesting things to see. We didn't do the horse riding but that was just our preference. Teo our guide was absolutely fantastic. Very knowledgeable and drove with care on what can be quite interesting roads! I didn't feel the beach stop in Macao added to the trip - wasn't enough time to change and enjoy the beach and was slightly too long to just look at it... Otherwise it was a great day out for those wanting to have some culture without spending all day getting to Santa Domingo and back again. Very good value excursion without any hard selling during the tour.

Wonderful Cultural Experience – Highly Recommended! - We had an amazing time on this tour, thanks especially to Teo, whose great communication and genuine care made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable.
The day was filled with immersive cultural activities, starting with a beautiful horse ride and a visit to a local bazar, where we got a real feel for everyday Dominican life. Lunch was a highlight—an authentic Dominican Republic meal that was both delicious and comforting.
We also loved the coffee and chocolate tour, where we learned how both are made and got to sample the freshest flavors. The cigar factory visit was surprisingly fun and informative, even for those who aren’t cigar fans!
Overall, it was a fun, relaxing, and memorable tour that gave us a deeper appreciation for the Dominican Republic. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore local culture in an enjoyable way!

Great value excursion - Excellent value, booked through Viator and was half the price of those selling excursions in resort. Kept informed by WhatsApp immediately after booking and called on the morning too. Toa was an excellent guide who was very knowledgeable and friendly. Great way to experience the real Dominican life.

Price increase in soeveniersshop - A good guide who told a lot. Bus could have been better taken care of.
Bad experience in tourist shop. Shopkeeper raised the price of a bracelet from 10 to 45 euros. I felt relieved and refused. Eventually I got it through the guide Teo for the actual price of 10 usd. The bracelet was immediately broken on pick-up after returning. This was such a downer that I haven't bought anything anywhere.
