• Edinburgh - Begin your 1-day tour of Loch Ness, Glencoe, and the Highlands from the Edinburgh City Centre departure point at Castle Terrace, outside the NCP Car Park, EH1 2EW, in the morning. The tour heads northwest from Edinburgh, passing the majestic Stirling Castle.
• Callander - The first stop is in the Callander area of the Highlands for light refreshments, with a chance to see a Highland cow, depending on the season.
• Glencoe - Continue through Rob Roy Country, home to Clans MacGregor and Campbell, then traverse the striking landscapes of Rannoch Moor and the Black Mount to reach Glencoe, one of Scotland’s most renowned glens, known for the 1692 massacre of the Clan MacDonald. Here, enjoy a photo opportunity and absorb the atmosphere of this evocative glen.
• Fort William - The tour proceeds via Loch Linnhe, stopping in the Fort William area for lunch, then continues through the scenic Great Glen, passing beneath Britain’s tallest mountain, Ben Nevis.
• Urquhart Castle - The journey continues through the charming village of Fort Augustus before arriving at Urquhart Castle, where you can opt for a cruise and castle excursion (optional extra).
• Loch Ness - If not participating in the excursion, the tour proceeds to the Clansman Hotel, where you have an hour of free time before returning to Edinburgh. Relax at the hotel or partake in the “Donald Fraser – Illicit Whisky Experience,” a 20 to 30-minute on-site experience featuring a film on the history of illicit whisky distilling, accompanied by a dram of the Donald Fraser blend (optional extra £12).

Alternatively, explore the area, such as the Old Coffin Road Walk starting at the hotel car park. You can also opt for a one-hour round trip cruise along the loch, offering stunning views of Urquhart Castle (optional extra).

Loch Ness, stretching 24 miles long and over 700 feet deep, is famed for sightings of the Loch Ness monster, affectionately called “Nessie.” Spend time at Loch Ness, where you can choose to enjoy a delightful cruise on the loch.

• Pitlochry - The tour returns home through the Cairngorms National Park and the picturesque woodlands of Perthshire, including the Forest of Atholl, with an evening refreshment stop at the Victorian resort town of Pitlochry, before concluding in Edinburgh.
