Well worth the money - I would highly recommend this tour. Our driver was very informative and we were lucky to get a beautiful day for our cruise. Well worth the money we paid.

Best part of our trip! #AllenRocks - This was probably the best part of our whole UK trip last June. The views were breathtaking. Our driver Allen was wonderful (he should read audiobooks) and his recommendation to try the “scotch-chocolate”, as we’ve taken to calling it, was well worth it. This is 200% worth the trip. Soooo great!!!

Lovely trip to Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle! - A fantastic way to see Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle. Very informative tour guides both with Jacobite Tours and at the castle (thank you Ranald and Mark!). The castle was quite impressive, and there was a nice museum and video to go along with the visit. This trip was the perfect amount of time as well!

Perfect Tour! - Our guide Neil was was awesome as was the cruise crew! Perfect way to spend four hours and get back in time to enjoy the rest of the day in Inverness. Time spent on each leg of the tour was perfect, culminating in a self-guided tour of Urquhart castle!! If you're in Inverness - go!!

Definitely should go! - I was on the fence to go because I wanted to do the nature hike however when we did decide to go for it it was beautiful. There was some rain when we went but the Loch Ness and other lochs that we were on had a spectacular view! The boat commentator was amazing and had great information while narrating us down to the castle. We also had some Hylan hot chocolate which includes a little bit of whisky, even more perfect! You can’t go wrong if you decide to go on this cruise boat to the castle. The castle was an amazing view as well and had much history where you can watch a 10 minute documentary after you visit the ruins.

Worth the money - We enjoyed the cruise/tour of the castle and Loch Ness. Having someone else drive was totally worth it. The entire tour including travel to/from Loch Ness took about 3 1/2-4 hours which was a perfect amount of time to see everything. The visitor centre is a bit cheesy but seriously, what would you expect? Lovely scenery, pleasant drive to and from, and the tour guide provided an informative and entertaining narrative. Highly recommend.

Short trip - It was ok - didn’t realise that to get off and explore the castle it was a different trip. So we essentially sat on the boat. I also expected it to be a longer trip. But it was clean and the staff were friendly. They had no chocolate for the hot chocolate. Parking was a limited but we did manage to get a spot at the hotel.
