John O'Groats - A scenic drive up to John O'Groats. Nice walks. Places allocated to watch the sea life. Visitors centre available. Open all year round except on Christmas day. A nice selection of gift shops and a variety of eating places. Plenty of car parking spaces at a reasonable price.

East ciast better than expected - Had a brilliant week took in all the usual sights that were open and dog friendly so no distilery tours no castle tours only grounds were allowed, but natural beauty of coast and country were amazing, riads are really good in the main. Theres lots of places to visit with free or loe cost parking very rugged, abundance of wildlife its amazi g John o groats is worth a visit the old mill up the road was closed as was the castle of Mey but we enjoyed all the free to enter parks and woodlands and obviously the many glorious beaches and ciastal walkways excellent. Inverness town centre the best in the Highlands so worth a stop there before or after and maybe visit Aviemore on way home beautuful

Excellent trip to John O'Groats and DunRobin Castle. - Excellent tour up to John O'Groats. It was a beautiful day and the sea was clear and bright and it couldn't have been better. Our driver - I forgot her name, went out of her way to make sure that we saw everything and had a good time. I really appreciate that. A really terrific tour. I had been to DunRobin Castle before. It is really one of the most beautiful castles in Scotland.

Trip to the very north. - The tour was great. A stormy and partially rainy day but Alex made it a great trip. Along the way he provided lots of information on the history, fauna and flora and made sure nobody leaves with open questions. As we had some time to spare on the way back he took as to a burial site not on the official tour. Only downside was that Tripadvisor booked us twice but Alex said he would get it sorted.

The castle was beautiful... - The castle was beautiful and a must see. The rest of the tour was nice, but the castle is by far the most impressive stop. I’d recommend bringing snacks as well.

Pleasant day in the north of Scotland - Despite the weather, the tour went nicely. The time for each activity was enough, even though I would have loved a bit more time at the castle to attend the falconry demonstration in its full length. I really enjoyed the castle visit (especially the falconry demonstration - between April and October) and the walk after John O’Groats. Thanks to our guide Alex for sharing his knowledge and advices, and for telling where the nice spots were for photographs. 🙂
