I believe high-quality, regionally-focused cuisine is essential when visiting the Highlands, and I assure you a genuine Highland experience. The dining style of The Cleikum Social Eating Club is inspired by the Cleikum from Sir Walter Scott’s ‘St. Ronan’s Well,’ a figure who greatly popularized the Highlands as a romantic travel destination.
Born and raised in Inverness, I have a passion for the tourism potential of this area and hold a deep knowledge about it.
While studying at University, I worked as a guide/hostess in the observation car from Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh during the summer season. I offered a continuous narrative throughout the trip, and assisted visitors with food recommendations, sightseeing suggestions and provided insights about the Isle of Skye.
