- Culloden Moor - Culloden Battlefield exudes a haunting atmosphere that transcends its historical importance. Known as the site of one of Scotland’s bloodiest battles, it is believed that the spirits of the fallen still roam the moor. The battlefield is particularly haunting at dawn or dusk, when mist envelops the area, and the heavy silence of history feels almost overwhelming. Locals believe that on the battle’s anniversary, the spirits of the Jacobite soldiers return, eternally reliving their final moments.
