Highly Recommend - This is an excellent experience. George is incredibly knowledgeable of the area, history, and whisky, and is more than willing to share some amazing stories. The distilleries were great and the cooperage was an unexpected highlight. George, thank you for the laughs and a great time!

George was an absolute delight! - George was an absolute delight! The tour was informative and fun from start to finish. I learned about whisky in the distilleries we visited; and George's local knowledge meant we got some history of the local area to boot (playing "guess the purpose of the old farming equipment was good fun!"). I would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting the area.

100% Worth it! - Our tour guide Sarah picked us up at the appointed time and settled us into the van. She told us about the area, asked us what we wanted to see, there was some slight changes we were able to make to the tour itinerary which was awesome since my husband really wanted to see some Pictish stones. Glenfarclas did a very good and thorough distillery tour, with a wee tasting at the end in a beautiful room. We were able to get the Cooperage tour which you should not miss. We did two more tastings and a quick visit to a working wool mill: Knockando Woolmill. Sarah was a great driver and tour guide. This tour was worth it, 100%!

You can tour three whiskey breweries, even a barrel factory... - It was very meaningful to visit three whisky breweries and even a barrel manufacturing plant. The driver's guide is friendly and talkative. Even if I couldn't hear enough English, I was able to convey integrity. The area around Speyside is rolling hills where sheep graze leisurely.

Splendid Speyside Tour - George is a very kind and genuine person. Our tour experienced was elevated because of all the information he gave us and all the effort he put to take us around and manage all of our small requests while moving from one distillery to another. Very witty person with good stories and funny jokes. Amazing experience 👍🏻

Wonderful day with a pleasant surprise. - George was the perfect Scottish guide. We contacted him ahead of time by messaging and requested a specific distillery and his choice for the rest of the day. As we drove he pointed out interesting sights and answered any questions we had. His knowledge of the various distilleries in the area was extensive. We had the full tour of my husband’s favorite distillery and tastings at two others. In addition we learned about the refurbishing of the casks at the area cooperage. We had a quick lunch at a very nice sandwich shop as well. Keep n mind the guide will book the distillery tours but admission payment was our responsibility and not included in the tour fee. The entire day was pleasant, informative and not at all rushed. Big surprise to me was that I have never enjoyed my husband’s scotch whisky but loved the very peaty one I tried. We both would highly recommend the tour, especially with George!

George is fantastic! - George Was Outstanding! Today I had the pleasure of taking a small group whiskey tour guided by George, and I can honestly say it was one of the best tour experiences I've ever had. It was 6 of us in the van with George traveling through Scotland. From the moment we began, George’s passion for whiskey was infectious. He struck the perfect balance between deep knowledge and entertaining storytelling, making the history, process, and subtle nuances of whiskey not only understandable but truly fascinating. Whether you were a seasoned connoisseur or a total beginner, George made everyone feel welcome and engaged. He had an incredible way of answering questions with insight and humor, and his enthusiasm never felt forced—it was clear he genuinely loves what he does. The tasting portion was especially memorable, thanks to George’s expert guidance on how to appreciate the flavors and aromas like a pro. If you’re considering a whiskey tour, I cannot recommend George highly enough. He turned a great tour into an unforgettable experience. Cheers, George—you were fantastic!
