• Kamotsuru Sake Brewery - Kamotsuru is a trailblazer in Ginjo sake brewing. Watch a 10-minute video on sake making and taste the Daiginjo-Type, “Daiginjo Gold Kamotsuru,” in the Kamotsuru Visitor Room.

• Fukubijin Sake Breweries - Known as the Saijo Brewing School, Fukubijin has produced many exceptional master brewers. Taste “Fukubijin Junmai-Shu.” Warm sake is available during the winter season!

• Kamoizumi Sake Brewery - Kamoizumi was among the first in Japan to brew junmai-shu (pure rice sake) using only rice and koji mold. Sample their signature product, “Junmai Ginjoshu 朱泉 Honjikomi.”

• Saijo Sakaguradori Tourist Information Center - Provides brochures, information about Sakagura-dori Street, and offers souvenirs. Take a restroom break here.

• Kirei Sake Brewery - Kirei Shuzo is known for its dry taste compared to other Saijo sakes. Taste “Yoshidaya’s Sake,” a limited edition sake blended by the brewery and ready to drink that month.

• Saijotsuru Brewery - Saijotsuru uses traditional techniques passed down through generations of Hiroshima sake brewers. Taste “Junmai Daiginjo Genshu Shinzui,” which has received multiple awards from Monde Selection.

• Hakubotan Brewery - One of the oldest sake breweries in Hiroshima Prefecture, founded in 1675. Taste “Hyoka,” an unfiltered sake that has been fresh frozen in a special way, and plum wine soaked in Daiginjo-shu.

• 山陽鶴酒造株式会社 - Sanyotsuru is the only sake brewery west of Saijo Station. Try cloudy sake and purchase sake ware.

Saijo is one of Japan’s top three sake brewing regions. Within a short walk from Saijo Station, there are seven sake breweries. Visitors can explore all the breweries in just two hours, guided by an English-speaking expert who shares insights into the history and unique sake of each brewery. Guests have the opportunity to sample the recommended sake from each location, including varieties like Daiginjo, Junmai, and Cloudy sake, ensuring everyone finds a favorite. Some breweries typically do not offer tastings on weekdays, making this tour a rare chance to try sake from all the breweries. If spots are available, registration is open up to four hours before the tour begins. Come and discover your favorite sake!

• More than 15 minutes late of the tour start time will be treated as a cancellation. The amount you paid will not be refunded.
• According to Japanese law, the drinking age is 20 years old. Participants under the age of 20 are not permitted to participate.
