• Kamotsuru Sake Brewery - Kamotsuru is a trailblazer in Ginjo sake brewing. Enjoy a 10-minute video on sake production and sample the Daiginjo-Type, “Daiginjo Gold Kamotsuru,” in the Kamotsuru Visitor Room.
• Fukubijin Sake Breweries - Known as the Saijo Brewing School, Fukubijin has produced many exceptional master brewers. Sample “Fukubijin Junmai-Shu.” Warm sake is available during the winter season!
• Kamoizumi Sake Brewery - Kamoizumi was among the first in Japan to brew junmai-shu (pure rice sake) using only rice and koji mold. Try their renowned “Junmai Ginjoshu 朱泉 Honjikomi.”
• Saijo Sakaguradori Tourist Information Center - Offers brochures, information about Sakagura-dori Street, and a selection of souvenirs. Take a restroom break here.
• Kirei Sake Brewery - Kirei Shuzo is known for its dry taste compared to other Saijo sakes. Sample “Yoshidaya’s Sake,” a limited edition blend ready to drink that month.
• Saijotsuru Brewery - Saijotsuru uses traditional techniques passed down through generations of Hiroshima sake brewers. Taste “Junmai Daiginjo Genshu Shinzui,” a repeatedly awarded sake by Monde Selection.
• Hakubotan Brewery - One of the oldest sake breweries in Hiroshima Prefecture, established in 1675. Taste “Hyoka,” an unfiltered sake fresh frozen in a special way, and plum wine soaked in Daiginjo-shu.
• 山陽鶴酒造株式会社 - Sanyotsuru is the only sake brewery west of Saijo Station. Sample cloudy sake, and sake ware is available for purchase.

Saijo is renowned as one of Japan’s top three sake brewing regions. Within a convenient one-kilometer stroll from Saijo Station, visitors will find seven sake breweries. In just two hours, guests can enjoy a guided tour with an English-speaking guide who shares insights into the history and unique sake offerings of each brewery. Visitors have the opportunity to sample a variety of sake, including Daiginjo, Junmai, and Cloudy sake. Since some breweries typically do not offer tastings on weekdays, this tour provides a rare chance to experience sake from all the breweries.

If there is availability on the day of the tour, registration is open up to 4 hours before it begins. Come and discover your favorite sake!

Please note, according to Japanese law, the legal drinking age is 20. Participants under 20, including infants, are not permitted to join. This is a tasting tour, and the sake brewing process will not be observed.

• Please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before the tour starts. If you are late for the 1:00 PM start time, you will not be able to visit all the breweries. Please note that if you are more than 15 minutes late for the tour start time, your reservation will be automatically canceled and a cancellation fee will apply.
• If the event is suddenly canceled due to bad weather, etc., We will contact you on your registered email by 5pm the day before.

• This tour features a 2-hour walking tour visiting seven breweries. As you will walk approximately 1.5 km while tasting Sake, we recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes.
