Participants learn commands to direct the buffaloes, such as “Di” for right and “Tha” for left, discovering the fascinating fact that these buffaloes respond well to daily communication.

Next, traditional farming tools like harrows, hoes, and plows are used to make the mud even and soft. Participants then learn how to plant baby rice in the wet mud, ensuring each plant is placed in neat rows. Walking along the rice paddy paths, guests can ride on the back of buffaloes for a thrilling 15-minute journey across dikes and streams, guided by local farmers. Afterward, they learn how to care for the buffaloes by feeding them fresh green grass, which is a delightful experience.

• Bay Mau Coconut Forest - The tour stops at the coconut forest, where guests hear stories about local residents during the Vietnam War, including tales of how the Viet Cong hid under the mangroves to fight helicopters. Guests are then transferred onto a coracle boat for a 45-minute ride with local fishermen, exploring the water coconut forest and observing wildlife. They participate in fishing activities such as hand net lifting, net throwing, and net rolling, just as local fishermen do to catch fish for their families.
