Amazing experience! - We had the most amazing afternoon at Water Wheel! Our amazing teacher Spring taught us how to make three dishes and made it super simple but fun. The food was amazing too! Then we loved the coconuts after. All in all a fabulous experience and we would highly recommend!

Wonderful Guide! Rich Cultural Experience! - I was only looking to take a Vietnamese cooking class, but what I got was a real trip highlight! I was greeted at my hotel by Ruby who was a delightful guide. I was solo, and she took me by the arm and guided me through the local markets, collecting food for our class and showing me all the local fare. This was really neat! I asked a lot of questions and Ruby’s English was great. Later we went to the farm and Ruby showed us all the plants in the garden and what they were and how they’re used in local dishes. Then, there was the coconut boats, the water buffalo ride, planting, and WoW, the food we cooked was Amazing! So flavorful! I learned so much. I Highly recommend this one!

Búi is the best!!! - Our tour guide Búi made this experience amazing for us. She made us feel welcomed, educated us about Vietnamese culture and made the whole experience enjoyable.

As Authentic as it Gets - For a taste of village life in an urban area this is the place. The staff are warm and friendly - Phong was our guy - and you are both welcomed, and left feeling like an accomplished cook of Vietnamese food! A must experience in Hoi An.

Fun during flood - We visited Hoi A during the October flood but that didn’t dampen our experience. Everyone else in our group cancelled, so we had a private class. Due to flooding we were picked up from our hotel by motor bike. We had a wonderful time visiting the garden and seeing for the farm works. Phong and Ruby were great, our food delicious, and we highly recommend this tour.

Authentic and fun day for the whole family - We loved our day out here. We were a group of 18 including adults and teens. Vi picked us up from our hotel and we rode to the local market, then through the rice paddies and rode buffalo along the way. Once at Water Wheel, we learnt how the locals grow herbs, how to make rice paper and Vietnamese pancakes and then sat down to a delicious lunch. This was an incredible and authentic experience, everyone loved it. Such a lovely family run business, highly recommend!

Authentic and beautiful Vietnam experience - We spent a wonderful afternoon here. Time has flown by, whether by boating, working as a farmer, buffalo riding and of course cooking with the highlight of the subsequent meal 🤗 There is hardly a better way to get to know a more authentic side of Vietnam in an interesting and entertaining way. Ideal for families as well as travel groups

Farm to table - We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with V from basket boating to cooking. The herbs picked from the farm were a highlight and we loved the home cooked meal we had after cooking!

A local food gardening and cooking. - Had a great day with our guide Trang. Really enjoyed the farm experience learning about the various plants and cultivation methods. The cooking experience was great and the lunch that follows was delicious. Very worthwhile.
