♥ 10:00 Explore “Unveiled Secrets of Ky Anh Tunnels: Walk Where History Hides” – The Ky Anh Tunnels were constructed during the peak of the resistance war against America and stand as one of the most significant historical sites today. These tunnels were excavated by the Northern Vietnamese resistance from 1965 to 1967, stretching approximately 32 km. They wind beneath villages, passing through homes, straw piles, bamboo groves, and canals, creating a concealed underground network that eluded detection by the U.S. army. -
Chien Dan Cham Tower - ♥ 11:00 Visit the Chien Dan Champa Towers (late 10th, early 11th centuries). These consist of three sanctuaries facing east, built by the Champa kingdom in the late 10th to early 11th centuries. On the site, there is a large inscribed stone known as the Chien Dan inscription, which confirms that the towers were constructed during the reign of King Harivarmadeva. However, it is still debated whether the king personally sponsored the monuments.

Authentic experience to learn more than I could have imagined! - Most authentic and eye opening tour I’ve had in Asia. We started by meeting Cham Cham and learning about his family on the way to the tunnels and when we get there we met with a veteran Mr. Ta who built and lived in the tunnels during the war. His stories were incredible.
Cham Cham also was able to show us a local restaurant with the best noodles for lunch. I’d give this tour 10 stars if I could and will recommend to anyone in the area!

10/10 experience! - Cham Cham was an amazing tour guide. He took us to the Ky Anh tunnels where we toured the underground tunnels where soldiers lived for years, it was truly an authentic experience. It was not at all overrun by tourists and felt like a true off-the-beaten path tour. Mr Ta met us at the tunnels, a veteran from the war who worked and lived in the tunnels.
We finished at the Cham Cham temple which was over 1,000 years old and then with an amazing lunch of Vietnamese chicken noodle dish. I definitely recommend!

A powerful and memorable experience - Vincent did a fantastic ob of taking us to see the 32 km of tunnels that were so critical to the local people during the war.
We had the great pleasure to meet Mr. Tan, a veteran Vietcong soldier who was 17 at the time and who helped dig these tunnels. He'd lost his parents and brother in the conflict and yet could not be a nicer person.
He explained how for them it was a battle for survival and explained some of the ingenious ways they used to warn of enemy patrols and to spot enemy troops.
It was an extremely powerful and memorable experience.

Ky Anh Tunnels - Highly recommend this tour to the Ky Anh tunnels. If youre interested in learning first hand about some real history of the war, this tour is a must. Vincent our guide picked us up in Hoi An and on the drive gave us some background history of the tunnels and history of the Vietnam war generally. On arrival you meet Mr Tan who fought in the war and actually worked on digging the tunnels for the Viet Cong. He's such an interesting person with a wealth of personal first hand experience to share. Vincent acts as his translator. Then you can go down into the tunnels and experience the cramped conditions. It's our most interesting tour of the holiday so far.

Very interesting tour of the tunnels with Vietcong veteran - Vincent gave a very interesting and informative tour of the Viet Cong tunnels in Tam Ky.
It was an extra layer of authenticity to hear directly from a Viet Cong veteran about his memories of the tunnels and the war.

An enriching tour to the tunnels of war - Getting to visit the Viet Cong tunnels and learn from the guide’s history and knowledge about the war was a very interesting and educational experience. The tour operator is very reliable and knowledgeable. This is a great value-for-money and highly memorable tour to take part in!

Wonderful half day tour - Private tour with a friendly, knowledgeable guide and an additional driver. Met a war veteran who told his story and showed us parts of the Ky Anh tunnels.
Good organisation, pick up from hotel was convenient. Very much recommend this tour!

Impressive war tour - If you want to know more how about the war of Vietnam tunnels this is very impressive there was a veteran explaining the guide translated it for you (the veteran speaks only Vietnam)

Experience not to miss - This tour was truely memorable and an authentic experience, this tour highlighted the honest lived experience of the Vietnam people. We visited historical sites, tasted local cuisine and met a vietcom who shared his story. Explored the tunnels and learnt about the massacre of Son My.
Highly recommend this tour- safe, friendly guide, experience driver and worth the money.
Support local and bring more knowledge of the trauma of the Son My people.
