  Hoi An is an ancient town located in the lower section of Thu Bon River, Quang Nam Province, about 30 kilometers south of Danang city. Hoi An was a bustling international trading port,a meeting place of the trading ships of Japan, China and the West during the 17th and 18th centuries. Before this period, there was here also traces of Champa port which was known as a site on Silk Road along the sea. Hoi An ancient town today is a special example of a traditional port city in Southeast Asia which has been well preserved. Most houses here are of traditional architecture dating from the 17th to the 19th century, and are along the narrow main streets. Hoi An is also a land mark recorded much of the mixture of acculturation. The architecture of the city reflects the influence of chinese, japanese, portuguese, french and british traders. Hoi An still maintained an intangible cultural diversity and richness. Hoi An is considered as a living museum of architecture and urban lifestyle.

Tour Itinerary:

2:00 p.m.: The guide and driver will pick up guests from their hotel in Hoi An or Da Nang City and transfer them to Hoi An City for a walking tour.

Participants will explore the historic old town, featuring highlights such as the Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, Tan Ky Ancient Commercial House, the Japanese Covered Bridge, and the Cultural and Historical Museum. Following this, enjoy a sunset boat cruise along the Thu Bon River for a relaxing experience. Departing from the town center, the boat will head north, navigating smaller estuaries lined with lush palm trees and charming houses. Observe the daily life of local fishermen along the river.

Pass by Hoi An’s fishermen as they skillfully cast their large nets for the evening’s fresh catch.

The Hoi An river cruise concludes as the day fades, with the sky transforming into stunning shades of purple and orange as the sun sets over the river. Return to shore for the evening.

The tour ends at the Hoi An dock, and guests will be transported back to their hotel.
