Best tour so far with John! - We enjoyed this half day tour with John. He made it memorable with his knowledge of the area, the people and the history. We enjoyed riding the bicycles, visiting his and neighbouring villages and the scenery. Lunch was also delicious. Highly recommended. Great sense of humour also. Thankyou John!

Authentic Vietnam at its finest!!!! - By far one of the best trips we took while in a different country. The bike ride was peaceful and we got the chance to enjoy what the country offers! From the water basket ride, to the farm, to riding a water buffalo this was an experience we will never forget. John is amazing! 🤩

Unforgettable Cultural Experience – Highly Recommend! - The Hoi An Farm and Fishing private tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Vietnam. It offered a perfect balance of hands-on activities, cultural immersion, and stunning scenery. Our guide was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the local way of life, which made the experience even more authentic. We started the day cycling through the town to the river for the fishing part of the tour. Riding in a traditional round basket boat was so much fun—especially navigating the water coconut forest. The local fishermen showed us how to cast nets and even let us try. It was both challenging and hilarious! We then continued the day cycling through the peaceful countryside, visiting a local organic farm where we got to try our hand at traditional farming techniques—watering crops and learning about sustainable practices. The farmer was so welcoming and patient, and it gave us a whole new appreciation for their work. It was a fantastic authentic experience and one in which we highly recommend.

Hoi An Village Tour - This tour was awesome! Biking through the villages was a unique experience. We went basket boating and got to try fishing. Then we went to a vegetable village and got to ride a water Buffalo, help water the plants, and have food from the locals. All a great escape from the city. Lahn was the best tour guide we’ve had our entire trip and really made it a fun and personal experience for us!

A great day out boating and the local way of life - We have just got back from our tour with John and I must say it was absolutely brilliant. He took time to talk to us and explain the way of life. We did the bamboo rafting and spun to gangland style. Rode a buffalo and unvisited a local vegetable guidance where we helped plant and dig. You don’t need to go to a big company to have a great day! He took plenty of photos for us and sent us a video . I even managed to get him to do the Eric Morcombe over your face handkerchief trick what a sport.

5 star cycle tour - We had a fantastic cycling tour with John yesterday, he is so knowledgeable and was able to share with us lots of interesting information about the areas we cycled through. If you want a fun way to explore the rural area of Hoi A then John is the person you need.

Awesome day out with John - basket boats, farming and cookery class :)) - Hi John, just wanted to thank you for the wonderful tour of Hoi An you gave us. Visiting 'your village' to ride in the basket boats was fantastic and the children especially enjoyed the spinning ride. Meeting the farmer and having the opportunity to help on the farm, water the crops and learn about farming crops was another great experience. We loved riding between places on the bikes and were glad we had you to lead the way and get us around safely. We are still laughing about the cooking demonstration. The lady who taught us was hilarious. Thanks again and would highly recommend you to anyone needing a tour guide from someone who speaks fantastic English and knows the area inside out.

Excellent ***** - We had the most wonderful time in Hio An Our tour guide John was absolutely amazing. We did the cycle tour / organic farm/ cookery demo & delicious lunch with John & had so much fun. John also took us on our tour to Matble mountain, Hia Can Pass & onto Hue. He is very knowledgeable, helpful & makes all the tours very enjoyable. We would highly recommend John for any of the tours around Hoi An Thank you John!

The best day in Hoi an! - We travel all over the world. Some tour guides are ok, some are good. John was great! His knowledge of Hoi An and his connection to the area is deep and genuine. We had our best day in Vietnam spending our day with him. We bicycled around the area with great views of the rice fields and many of the bustling villages and felt very safe the whole time. We did the basket boat tour with him & his guides and it was so much fun! He took pictures of us all day so we have the great memories to savor after our trip. The best part is John’s command of the English language. He is clear, articulate, and easy to listen too, which made our time with him relaxing and entertaining. If any of my friends are coming to Vietnam, I will insist they spend the day with him!
