Great way to see and learn about Hoi An, highly recommended - Excellent tour covered a lot of Old Town Hoi A with very knowledgeable guide Toan who couldn’t have more helpful. The basket boat and lantern boat release were a great experience. Highly recommend this tour and Toan as guide.

Must do tour - Tintin knew her stuff. She was very thorough explaining historical relationship dynamics between China and Japan in Hoi An. The whole tour was very fun from walking along the Ancient City, markets, basket boating to lantern boat ride. The tour even included traditional Vietnamese lunch. This tour is definitely a must in Hoi An.

Very nice experience... - Very nice experience going through the old city and the basket boat tour.with a dinner. In peak season the basket boat area and the evening boat can be a bit crowded. Tintin our guide was great and she arranged a rickshaw for an elderly family member instead of walking.

The Ideal Hoi An City Tour - Arguably the best full-day experience we had during our SE Asian travels. We learned a ton about Hoi An's history and culture while experiencing the coconut boats and releasing lanterns into the river at night. Our guide was an absolute gem. She was incredibly personable and elevated our tour by just being her. If we were to visit again, we would 100% book with her again.

Tintin is a great guide! - Had an amazing day on the Basket Boat, Hoi An city tour, and lantern boat ride! Our tour guide Tintin was incredible — so friendly and knowledgeable, and we really loved getting to know her throughout the day. The whole tour was fantastic and we learned so much about Hoi An and its culture. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting!

All depends on tour guide - The tour guide not expected so good.... just leave us at the floating lantern, and leave us behind to take the bus back to hotel. Never return our entrance ticket, as the ticket is valid for 3 days.

Sites not yo be missed in Hoi An - The trip has a lot of potential. Great variety of activities and opportunities to learn about Hoi An. Thoroughly recommend but the full success of your trip will depend on your guide. There were only 6 in our group yet the guide did not bother to ask our names. She managed to lose 1 regularly and she tended to rush us around with little explanation as to where we were going next and what it would involve. The silk factory was interesting although it became obvious that we were there to buy rather than learn. Yet again rushed so we would not buy anything so expensive without more time to consider. Same with the leather and clothing. So that was disappointing. The dinner was basic and OK. The basket boat was amazing thanks to our ‘paddler’ - no idea what you call him as no one explained. And lighting the lanterns and the boat ride amazing too - thanks to the boat handler. So, yes, a trip we recommend but we were let down by our guide. We would have bought more from the places we were expected to had we not been rushed and made to feel that was all we were there for. And a guide who explained more would have made the tour a lot more interesting.

Bad guide - The tour guide was the worst guide I’ve had, she was always way ahead of everyone and wasn’t happy that one person needed to stop at the restroom and didn’t go before leaving the restaurant.
