10/10 Food Tour! - My guide Sam was the best! She was so friendly and engaging! Her knowledge of the food, Hoi An and Vietnam’s history and culture was outstanding. The food was delicious and plentiful. Make sure you have an empty stomach before starting ☺️. I have done many food tours and would rate this 10/10.

Sam was a wonderful... - Sam was a wonderful guide. I have a shellfish allergy and she helped me to make sure I was safe. We tasted so many yummy foods from Hoi an. We walked the local market were we tried coconut, ginger, smelled spices and coffee. We had egg coffee that was delicious. We had a wonderful time and loved Sam.😊

Fabulous foodie tour - We had a fantastic time with Sam on the night foodie tour. The places we went were interesting and the food was amazing. We had two teenagers with us and they were full & happy with the tour too! Sam was a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable, friendly, kind and had a great sense of humour! Highly recommend.

Great food and culture tour - We had an amazing time with Sam! This was an excellent food tour that blended a lot of great local and Central Vietnam cuisine. Sam also did a great job explaining the dishes and local Hoi An elements. The Black Sesame soup experience was so unique and special - we will remember it! Highly recommend if you’re going through Hoi An and looking for a great food tour. Make sure to come hungry…you will be full!

Very interesting and tasty experiece. - We did the tour with Sam. She was a great guide and also told us many interesting things besides information about the local food. For example about vietnamese traditions and culture. It was a very pleasant activity. I can highly recommend it. Thank you. :)

Amazing, Unique, Delicious, and Fun! - We absolutely loved our street food tour! My husband and I went and our tour guide was beyond amazing - taught us so much both about food and Hoi An culture and history. The food was INCREDIBLE beyond delicious and unique, we even had the “Best Banh Mi in the world” as proclaimed by Anthony Bourdain. In the end, she made us a super cute video of the tour that we will cherish forever 🩵

A tasty day out - Could there be a better way to spend a drizzly Monday than on a walking food tour with Sam? There were only two of us and we ate everything Sam could throw at us! 😊 It was hard to choose a favourite dish but the black sesame seed soup was definitely the most unexpected and also delicious! On top of the food, we got an insider’s experience of where the locals eat, and very importantly, HOW they eat! To round it all off, we also learned a few new phrases. Highly recommend this tour!

Sam was amazing! - This is easily one of the best food tours I’ve ever joined! The whole experience felt very relaxed—nothing was rushed, and we had loads of time at each stop to take everything in and ask questions. We visited a local market, where our guide shared all kinds of stories about the spices and ingredients used in regional cooking. It was fascinating to get hands-on and learn how these flavors come together in the dishes we later sampled. She let us know that she can cater for different allergies and dietary requirements too. Our timing was perfect, as we got to witness a vibrant Lunar Festival celebration—the energy and colors made the day even more memorable. Throughout the tour, our guide was super knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about food and local traditions. Each stop was a hidden gem away from typical tourist crowds, with fresh, authentic food and welcoming hosts. What stood out most was how much effort went into making the tour personal and engaging. From the market stroll to behind-the-scenes tips on food preparation, it felt like we were shown a side of the city locals love, not just what’s on show for tourists. If you want real local flavor, expert insights, and an unhurried, memorable day, I highly recommend this tour!

The tour was unorganised... - The tour was unorganised and not as enjoyable as others we have done in Vietnam. We missed one stop due to being closed, had half a portion at another due to closing, had a gluten free guest who was given a meal containing gluten. The guide was disinterested and provided limited information on the area and the dishes. Far better off researching popular meals and doing a self guided tour.
