Loved it! - We had a fantastic experience on this blue ice cave tour. I wish I could remember our guide’s name, but she was terrific. Knowledgeable, kind, careful, and fun! She brought a spiritual element to the tour, which was appreciated. My only strong recommendation to the tour company is to give clear instructions on where to meet up as a group.

Review for Ice Explorers – Blue Ice Cave Tour in Jökulsárlón - I had the most incredible experience with Ice Explorers on their Blue Ice Cave Tour in Jökulsárlón. From start to finish, everything was seamless, professional, and absolutely breathtaking. Booking was straightforward, and the meeting point was easy to find. The team was organized and timely, ensuring everything ran smoothly. We were provided with crampons, which made walking on the ice easy and safe. The vehicle ride to the cave was an adventure in itself, taking us across stunning glacial landscapes. Our guide, Guillermo, was outstanding—knowledgeable, warm, and truly passionate about what he does. He took the time to explain the formation of the ice caves, answered all our questions, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. His kindness and enthusiasm made the experience even more special. The Blue Ice Cave itself was out of this world—a surreal, shimmering, frozen wonderland that felt like stepping into another dimension. The shades of blue were mesmerizing, and we had plenty of time to take in the beauty and capture photos. Safety was a top priority throughout, and I felt completely at ease. The team’s expertise and professionalism were evident at every step. If you’re in Iceland, this tour is an absolute must! Ice Explorers exceeded all my expectations, and I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

Unforgettable Ice Cave Tour with a Great Guide! - I really enjoyed it. A glacier is always something majestic, and I want to thank our guide for making us feel safe inside the cave we visited, and for always taking the time to answer our questions and explain everything clearly. I must admit, I was expecting the cave to be inside the glacier itself, but I understand that the one we visited was likely the best and safest option for the season. Just a small suggestion: in cases like this, maybe consider passing close to the glacier, even if just to touch it. I know it might sound silly, but for someone who has never seen a glacier up close, that feeling still lingers. But overall, congratulations on the experience!

Blue Cave was only Ok - I rate this tour as 2.5 stars. Positives: The tour guides were organized and knowledgeable about the glacier. They took great photos inside the cave for all the groups. It was cool to realize you were in an actual cave made of ice. Negatives: There wasn:t much to the tour. You drove for 40 minutes in a jeep and walked for about 15 minutes to the glacier. Then you put on crampons and walked another 5 minutes on the actual glacier into the cave. The cave was small, so there wasn't much to explore. Although the photos are gorgeous and vibrant blue, in person it's only kind of blue. We got exactly what we paid for, but it was kind of boring. The photos definitely make it look cooler than it is.
