A Dream comes true. - There were two groups of six of us. Our group was guided by Gudrun Maria, and the others went with Barbara. We had a wonderful time. The explanations were clear, explaining (to us Dutch) the unknown world of glaciers and ice caves. We had plenty of time to film and photograph all the beauty. A fantastic day with two excellent guides.

Great experience - Tour starts in the lagoon, you drive with huge terrain vehicle to the glacier around 30min. Then you hike to the cave around 10min. I like that tour is in a small group, around 10 people, compared with other providers with 20+ people. Cave is beautiful! Our guide was very sweet and funny, also sharing really interesting facts about glacier history, cave formation process etc. He was also very helpful, doing photos of everyone and made us feel very welcome. Genuinely recommended.

A lifetime wonderful experience - It’s an ice cave on the Breiðamerkurjökull glacier at Vatnajökull National Park. Very much experienced company operates the tour. The tour starts at the Jökulsárlón lake parking area. Our time was 1 pm in early October 2024. The weather was perfect. They drove 12 -14 ( a group) together in a van for more than 30 minutes. Then we have to walk for another 10/15 minutes. The walking is treacherous and my wife was unfit for that. Our guide ( an fluent English speaking lady around 25-30 years personal took hold of my wife till the cave. Without her our tour would have been incomplete. She even fixed the spike on her shoes. Then we have to walk on the glacier for 5 minutes before waiting for another 10 minutes till the previous group vacates the cave. It was a lifetime experience. As such the ice is not blue, rather covered by black ash from the volcanic mountain. But the perfect weather with bright sun rays makes the cave appear blue. The time of the day is important otherwise someone get his heartened. Over all our experience was excellent as the sun was at the perfect angle on the glacier.

Amazing time - even with pouring rain we’re so happy to have the experience!! - Our guide Susie was very nice and informative. The hike was once in a lifetime experience. The kids loved learning about what formed the glaciers and how old the ice was that we were standing on. So glad we did it!

Unforgettable experience - Visiting this ice cave has certainly been one of the best experiences we have had. The place is simply spectacular: the cave’s ice formations and natural blue tones make you feel like you’re inside another world. It is a site that impacts both visually and by the feeling of being in the middle of nature in its purest state. To highlight the glacier walk on the way to the cave... spectacular! The experience would not have been the same without Iga, our guide: professional, friendly, and also the best photographer we could have had. Thank you so much! Highly recommended for those looking for something different, magical and truly memorable. It's completely worth it.

Unforgettable Ice Cave Tour with a Great Guide! - I really enjoyed it. A glacier is always something majestic, and I want to thank our guide for making us feel safe inside the cave we visited, and for always taking the time to answer our questions and explain everything clearly. I must admit, I was expecting the cave to be inside the glacier itself, but I understand that the one we visited was likely the best and safest option for the season. Just a small suggestion: in cases like this, maybe consider passing close to the glacier, even if just to touch it. I know it might sound silly, but for someone who has never seen a glacier up close, that feeling still lingers. But overall, congratulations on the experience!

Far too expensive, full, not worth it - 45 min Jeep ride 200m with Crampons hiked on the glacier queue in front of the cave about 10m long 1m wide 1.8m high. Get out next group, 45 min back. With a photo quilt. Very poor price quality ratio. Definitely does the Zodiactour on Jökulsarlon which is incredibly beautiful.
