Setting Sail to Paradise

The day began with a sense of anticipation as my wife and I joined a group of fellow adventurers in San José, ready to embark on the Tortuga Island Day Trip. Our guide, Victor, greeted us with a warm smile and a promise of a day filled with sun, sea, and surprises. As we made our way to Puntarenas, the excitement was palpable. The drinks were as strong as the sun, with the Coco Loco and piña colada offering a taste of tropical indulgence. A Feast for the Senses

Lunchtime brought a feast that was as satisfying as a perfect wave. Freshly grilled chicken and fish, accompanied by pan-fried potatoes, salad, and rice, were served under a pavilion, offering a moment to savor the island’s flavors. The iced tea was refreshing, a perfect complement to the meal.

As the afternoon wore on, the sky began to darken, hinting at an approaching storm. It was time to bid farewell to Tortuga Island, but not before one last stroll along the beach.
