Couples Day Out - 2nd time of visiting. Although I love seeing all the creatures I think they should be out at sea. The fee wasn’t as bad as I remembered but we chose not to do the virtual reality. It took around 2 hours for the visit it wasn’t busy, so you could walk around freely. The children you could hear were so excited. All the staff seemed happy and helpful. My favourites were the jellyfish, turtle and seahorses.

Lovely visit to a brilliant aquarium - We went to the aquarium at 10:15 and it was still very quiet. We had a lovely time wondering around and it took us about an hour or so to see everything. We took a taxi as it would be a 10-15 minute walk from the bus stop. Not much else around the area though other than the dinosaur land. The carpark was pretty big and other possible places to park.

Would highly recommend - Fantastic quality aquarium, was very pleasantly surprised. Staff were friendly. Visited with wife and 5 year old son and he was engaged the whole time. We didn’t eat but there was a little cafe where the sandwiches looked very nice. We spent a little over an hour but cloud have taken longer as there was plenty of information to read, however requires an attention span longer than a 5yo. When then done the do o park straight after very comfortable and convenient to do them both in the same day. If I’m ever back in Crete I’ll be sure to pay another visit.

Great day out & Wheelchair Accessible 😊😊 - We visited Cretaquarium after coming 2yrs ago on our Honeymoon & we loved it just as much as the 1st time. I now have to use a Powerchair due to my mobility & i got free admission along with my husband who was with me. Wheelchair access is excellent & I could enjoy the whole place easily. So many different species of fish, sea creatures & sharks. Really interesting place to visit for all ages. Highly recommend 😊😊

A very family-friendly site - We visited the Cretaquarium with our whole family, including two kids (ages 4 and 8), and they absolutely loved it. It’s very family-friendly, with plenty to see and explore for children and adults alike. I highly recommend it for families looking to get out of the hotel and experience something different from daily hotels routine. A great way to spend a few hours together

Worth a few hours on a quiet day - Very cheap (€8 pp) for a couple of hours of rainy day fun. A small aquarium but with good exhibits, including a couple of excellent big tanks. Cafe is also good, though shop disappointing. We went in Nov and it was very quiet.

Nice but little - Totally ok aquarium, a little small but fine fish. Probably better for those who want to take the time to read about each fish. Small souvenir shop and cafe at the end.
