Fantastic tour! - We had a wonderful time with Alex! He ensured we had a fantastic time, felt good on the bikes, and would be trying foods that we hadn’t had before! Definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Heraklion!

E-bike Food Tour - Alex was excellent. He was very accommodating even starting a few minutes early as we arrived early. We booked the Ecobike Food tour and Alex made it fun and interesting. He answered all of our questions bout Cretan history even though it was a food tour. We had three food stops and loved each place more. He was very in tune to our needs and combined the dessert stop into our main course stop as he could see we were relaxing and enjoying. He has a fabulous personality, is very easy to talk to and did a great job of making us feel welcome. The ecobikes are a combination of bikes and scooters and are easy to navigate. He has other tours as well that focus on history, wine, olives, etc. We highly recommend Alex and the ecobike food tour.

Awesome way to experience Heraklion!! - Alex was just WONDERFUL! He was the friendliest and most entertaining guide. His knowledge of Heraklion was terrific. We explored the city on the super fun easy to ride bikes and then experienced the local cuisine. The day could not have been better. I HIGHLY recommend Alex and the ebike food tour!!

Fun way to explore! - Fun day exploring the city! Alex was a great host and it was fun to zip around the city, seeing more than you could on foot. Beautiful views from the waterfront and the center city wall. Food was great & definitely worth the price! Definitely recommend.

He was extremely entertaining and friendly. If you are looking to explore and get the full foodie experience, this tour is a MUST! Spectacular day in Crete - Alex was amazing, very friendly and knowledgeable. Fabulous way to see the city, including areas you cant see in a vehicle. Huge selection of fabulous authentic Greek food and wine. This was definitely one of our favorite excursions during our 2 weeks in Greece. Highly recommend, well worth the price!

Enjoyable food and wine emersion experience following Alex thru the streets & allies of Heraklion. - Beautiful day emersed in the food, wine and people of Heraklion and we made it back with no rookie EV bike mishaps! Alex is a personable and knowledgeable guide. We started our tour riding along a park area near the harbor which was not crowded and wide open to get acclimated to our bikes. Then we parked the bikes and walked thru a local farmer's Market filled with fresh produce and fruits. We tasted some souvlaki from one of the vendors as we walked along. We ended this visit with a sit down meal at a local restaurant and end up eating the most delicious seafood, vegetables, cheese and meats paired with local wines. My wife and I have never been fans of anchovies but learned fried anchovies are delicious. The fresh fried eggplant melted like butter in your mouth. From there we rode back along the route that got us there and then entered the maze of streets and allies to get to the city center. Due to the cruise ships in town it was crowded and navigating thru the streets and people was fun and sometimes challenging. Felt more awkward than your first teenage dance trying to decide if they were shifting to the right or left as you planned your route around them. At some point we ended up at the Morosini fountain in the city center and enjoyed some cheese and cinnamon pastries. After that we weaved our way back to another restaurant by the harbor with views of the white caps on the water as we drank wine and enjoyed more food samplings. Our final stop was back at the starting point where we sampled some wines made with grapes from the vineyards owned by Alex family and his wife's family. Tip: If possible I would suggest renting a similar e-bike to make sure you are comfortable with the feel of operating one of these. We are experienced pedal bike riders on larger bikes. The feel of the smaller bike and the battery assist power takes some getting used to, especially when navigating thru allies or crowded streets.
