Oia - Bus ride to Oia: 40 minutes
Upon arrival at Athinios Port, board a comfortable coach and travel to the charming village of Oia, renowned for its postcard-perfect views and iconic blue-domed churches.
Free Time in Oia (10:30–12:10)
Wander through narrow alleys, capture stunning photos of the caldera, and explore delightful boutiques. Guests wishing to join the optional volcano and hot springs cruise will depart Oia slightly earlier to make their connection.

Fira - Bus ride to Fira: 30 minutes
Fira is the capital town of Santorini. Enjoy 1 hour and 20 minutes of free time there.
Then, choose between two options for the next 1.5 hours:
- Take a cruise to the volcano and hot springs (additional charge - consult your guide as this option is available only during high-season months and when weather conditions permit)
- Stay longer in Fira and savor lunch at one of the restaurants overlooking the breathtaking Caldera of Santorini.
- Athinios Port Santorini - Return to the port, board the boat, and head back to Heraklion port.
- Heraklion - Board the buses and return to the hotels where participants were gathered in the morning. The journey time back to the hotel will vary depending on traffic and the location of each pick-up point.

Very well organized and to see even if it is very touristy. - Everything was very well organized and coordinated. Guide in French very nice, competent and gives interesting information. The boat is punctual. Nothing wrong. The town of Oia, the photogenic is full of tourists like us so we run fast to visit with the little time we have to have the most beautiful views. Fira, the second floor is quieter. We have more time but the day passes. But it's to be seen!

Travel in April very... - Trip in April very pleasant. Very nice day, not very crowded. The time devoted to each location was sufficient. The guide and its presentation was very nice.

Worth the boat ride - Beautiful trip to Santorini and worth the not so pleasant boat ride! I’m guessing we would be disappointed during the busy summer months because might not get to see all of the beautiful spots but in October it was fabulous.

Lovely day in Santorini - We were picked up from the hotel, the bus was prompt. The ferry ride was smooth, I think everything was very well organised, they were waiting for us with the tickets printed already, informed us which bus would be ours once we reached Santorini. Once in Santorini the bus took us to the main 2 cities and was a lovely day. We were there mid to end of September, and it was very nice in terms of weather, sunny and a bit windy, a little crowded, but I imagine it is a lot worse in July/August. You have to walk at the same pace with the crowd, with people stopping to take pictures on narrow streets. But overall it was a very nice day, I would recommend this day tour if you want to see this island without having to actually stay on it, as it is quite expensive.

Day in Santorini - An amazing day well spent at Santorini. The price was reasonable and the organisation was spot on. Quick response to messages and the whole trip was just satisfying and fulfilling. The tour guide was so informative and funny, Kristina. She was very friendly and was so easy going. Definitely would recommend this as an activity if you are in need of an activity to do!

Snack size trip to Santorini - Great way to get a small taste of Santorini. No matter when you go its going to be packed! Our tour guide was informative, driver had amazing skills! They also comunicated very well when they weather had turned and the ferries weren't moving I was concerned about our day to leave but they assured me I would be refunded if the weather caused a cancelation, but thank goodness it all worked out well. We loved our day trip!

So Worth It! - Amazing way to see Santorini. We wanted to see the island but didn’t want to spend extended time there and this was perfect. We were able to see two great little towns, with plenty of time to sight see, shop, and stop for a beer / quick snack in each. The tours were both briefly guided to the town square. Then we were free to see what we wanted and were given a meet up time where the busses are.
The cost is so affordable, as it’s basically just the cost of the ferry tickets. If you choose to drive to the port there is parking all day for 3 euro next to where you get the tickets. Once you arrive just get in the long line and show your voucher, they will give you your tickets and tell you in English which boat to go to.
The first town is the big tourist town of Oia, so expect a lot of crowds, but it was great to check off the bucket list.
The second town Fira was our favorite, much less crowded, plenty of authentic shops (my wife got a permanent bracelet for 80 euro at lava art jewelry, they were so friendly!!). Make sure you catch the parade of donkeys winding up the small switch back streets too, that was our highlight.
Only things to note is that no food is provided, but they were fine with us eating on the bus. Also the ferry ride can be choppy and is a bit long, but the seats they give you are more spacious and comfortable than airplane seats so we both slept both ways.
All in all 10/10, I would recommend to anyone.

Undoubtedly reliable: Third trip with the Cretan Odyssey and always excellent! - The trip from Heraklion to Santorini was our third trip with the Cretan Odyssey and once again we were not disappointed! From the beginning to the end, the organization was perfect and the team was always professional. The transportation was comfortable and the service top. The drivers and guides were polite, professional.
What I especially appreciate is that, in every excursion, the Cretan Odyssey manages to make the experience even better and more comfortable. Although this was our third trip with them, it will definitely not be the last!
If you want to explore Santorini in the easiest and most comfortable way, I highly recommend it!

Fantastic experience with the Cretan Odyssey! - The trip from Heraklion to Santorini with the Cretan Odyssey was just excellent! From the beginning to the end, the organization and professionalism of the team were exemplary. Every detail was carefully taken care of, and this made the journey from Heraklion to Santorini one of the most enjoyable ways to discover the beautiful island.
The transportation was comfortable and safe, the guides were polite and professional, while the guides offered were full of interest and knowledge. We were guided to all the main sights in a way that made the experience truly memorable.
The general feeling that the trip left me was that the Cretan Odyssey takes care of its customers in the best possible way and every step of the process was aimed at making the experience as pleasant and relaxing as possible.
Overall, it was an impeccable experience and I will definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to explore Santorini with comfort and confidence that it is in good hands.
