The legend says that it used to be a monster created by Zeus to destroy the Cretans but he turned it into a stone to save them eventually. In the bay of Saint George where we anchor there was an ancient Minoan port that got destroyed along with the Minoan Civilization and sometimes it is possible to find ancient ruins and artifacts in the bottom of the beach. Nowadays there is a beautiful christian church of Aegean architecture. The island is home to many wildlife species such as rabbits, kri-kri goats, hawks and more! - Sailing In Cretan and Aegean Sea - While sailing back you can relax after a day full of joy and great memories. If you have booked the afternoon cruise with the sunset, the stunning view of the sun setting in the horizon is definitely going to be worth it!

Embark on a journey to the enchanting Dia Island aboard the most opulent Catamaran in Crete. The adventure commences at the historic Heraklion Old Venetian port.
After an hour of sailing, we reach Dia and anchor in the serene bay of Saint George. Here, guests can indulge in the pristine waters and partake in water activities such as snorkeling, fishing, paddle boarding, and more. (Please request equipment from the crew.)
Approximately an hour later, a delectable menu is served, featuring Greek salad, green salad, mushroom risotto, and a variety of local appetizers, with shrimp linguine as the main course. Complement your meal with the finest wine, beer, iced tea, or soft drinks.
Post-lunch, enjoy about 30 more minutes of relaxation on the yacht or take a final refreshing swim before we set sail back to Heraklion, leaving you with joy and wonderful memories.

Wonderful sailing cruise, highly recommended! - Wonderful trip, highly recommended!
We went in the daytime, the weather was lovely and warm. Very friendly staff, delicious food, unlimited drinks, crystal clears waters ideal for snorkeling and swimming

Amazing experience! - Amazing experience both captain and co captain were very nice had an amazing time. The water wasn’t as cold as we thought as the weather when we got to the island was pretty sunny. Managed to fly my drone a bit and got some good shots. The food was great especially the pasta!

Superb, amazing, yamas! - We went on the catamaran cruise to Dia Island and we had the most amazing trip. The staff, Yanis and Yanis (duo team same names) were friendly, helpful and attentive. My Son absolutely loved the Captain, he and his staff member took interest in my child, and to my Son that was exciting, he left the trip saying the captain was one of the best things about the trip! The facilities were great, however I would like to write an honest review, there was no toilet paper in the toilet, I asked for some but it never appeared, fyi it would have been put in the bin! The views are exceptional and the food was amazing! I highly recommend anyone visiting the North Coast of Crete to take this trip it's well worth it, it's made our holiday.

Excellent experience! - The trip was exactly as described. The captains were wonderful & the food was fresh and tasty. I enjoyed the swim time and my adult children swam to the island and walked around. I highly recommend this adventure to others.

The sunset cruise - I sailed to Dia island on a sunset cruise with my teenager. The pick up and drop off was on time. The crew was professional and friendly. We really enjoyed the sail and sitting on the front of the boat. We had plenty of time anchored to enjoy swimming, snorkeling and SU paddle boarding. The dinner was really good and we also enjoyed the fruit. Plenty to eat and drink. The best was the sunset coming in. It was really beautiful. The small group was not too crowded. It was a fantastic day.

12 friends on cruise - Nice excursion but way too expensive.
2 hr o 45 min out on the sea for 85€.
Wished for at least 1 more hour and our whole family of 12 agreed on that

Lovely experience with stunning views - Really enjoyed the catamaran trip and the booking process was easy and informative and the company very responsive to queries.
It would have been nice to know a little bit of the history of the island we went to but there was no information given which the crew had said there would be and after an hour in a taxi and waiting to set sail and another hour to the island some water would have been well received for the journey (we didn’t take any as unlimited drinks had been advertised but it is not clear this is only when you stop at the island) but they are my only small criticisms
Over all the trip was fantastic and would highly recommend and the freshly cooked meal on board was lovely too.
We were treated to some lovely views especially on the way back when we saw the most amazing sunset

Sailing - Enjoyed meeting all the other people on board the boat. Food and drinks were good. The water was amazing!!! Wasn't anything as advertised in the site. The captain was rude, but the his mate was very friendly and helpful.

Nice day and nice boat ride. - Everything was as expected. Catamaran was clean Spiro (1st mate) was great. Met a very nice family from UK. Water and swimming was very nice.
