Affordable and Enjoyable Tour - Such a great way to see the city! We enjoyed the smaller group size and sharing travel experiences with each other. The meeting place was easy to find. Our guide, Jola, was there early to greet all the members. She was friendly, courteous, professional and full of sooooo much Helsinki information. Despite the rainy weather, the tour group didn't miss out on any sites. Be sure to wear good walking shoes, pack an umbrella/rain gear and a TIP!

Our guide geatly exceeded our high expectations! We all learned so much from his encyclopedic knowledge and he was exceptionally - Ruslan, our guide was absolutely superb! His detailed knowledge was exceptional. His English was excellent. His ability to connect with the 11 in our group and engage us made this great fun. My wife was using a mobility scooter and his sensitivity to her needs for smooth places to cross the streets was special to us. It was raining during the tour and he made two stops inside for us to warm up and get relief from the rain. I was amazed at his encyclopedic knowledge which poured out in response to all of the many multi-topic questions from our diverse group. I pray that all the group gave him generous tips even though he told us tips were not required. He is a valuable asset to your group!

Siri was great - We had a wonderful tour with Siri - she was local and very knowledgeable and interesting. We appreciated her flip book with photos to help her guide… she was a good pace, not too fast or slow, current cultural information as well as historic. Highly recommend - don’t forget to give her a good tip!

Green Cap Helsinki Walking Tour - This was a good tour - I would rate it 3.5. The guide did a good job of describing the history of Finland and the background of the various buildings and monuments. If you are a history buff (which we are), this is the tour for you. We were a fairly large group (he even stated at the beginning that it was particularly large), maybe 40 or more people. His microphone equipment sometimes did not reach everyone. Particularly in one square with a fountain behind us, it was hard to hear even if you were fairly close. We were given about 10-15 minutes to go into the Helsinki Cathedral at the beginning of the tour. I think that the guide might have spent too much time giving us background and history as we stood in one place because it seemed like the second half of the tour was sort of sped up. We were given no time to look around Market Square (which we had already explored on our own) but the tour info says 20 minutes will be given to explore the vendors in Market Square. It did follow the route described online, going up the Esplanade and ending at the Oodi Library. At the end of the tour we were given a minute to take a photo of the list of suggested restaurants. He didn't say anything about foods to taste or give any opinions of any restaurants. He also stated very little about Finnish life. I did feel that the guide did not show any personality, he was just following a script. It is a worthwhile tour and we did tip him well.

I wouldnt recommend. - Honestly, their tour really wasnt great at all. We tried to give the guide a chance, but she kept going off on tangents that had nothing to do with where we were, and we ended up having to leave. We only paid 3 euros for the tour each so it wasnt a great loss, but still its really just a bit of a waste of time. I gave 2 stars because they were easy to find due to a green umbrella and green cap. But kinda wish we found someone else instead. I would say its worth paying for a more premium product.
