Incredible, unique Helsinki must do! - We had such a fun time doing the survival suit experience. Everything was provided and it was in a really handy location close to the city centre which we walked in about ten minutes. We felt safe and looked after the whole time and would definitely do it again. If you’re looking for a unique experience on your trip to Finland then this is it! 🇫🇮🙌🏻

DO NOT MISS EXPERIENCE! - This is a MUST do experience in Helsinki. From start to finnish (lol) it was fantastic!! Our guide Olly was a pleasure. So knowledgeable and fun. The float was so peaceful and relaxing one of the people in our group fell asleep! You are pretty snuggly bundled in so that you are airtight. It’s about hard to talk or smile but you adapt and it’s quite fun. Then we went on the hovercraft to our own private island for a bbq of salmon soup, rye bread, coffee and desserts. The hovercraft was smooth and just glided across the ice. Truly breathtaking views and the most memorable of experiences!

Can barely feel the cold water at all! - It was a very interesting experience and our guide was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating! Walking on normally dangerously thin ice in the Baltic sea is a delight with these suits!

Worth it! - The cold plunge experience is truly one of a kind, with the initial discomfort of putting on the suit quickly forgotten once you step onto the ice. Walking like a penguin across the frozen surface and floating in the refreshing water feels completely invigorating—trust me, the shallow water makes it easy to ease into at your own pace. It's an unforgettable adventure, and the benefits far outweigh the brief discomfort—waddle on and embrace the chill!

A must in Helsinki - 5 Stars! - What a fantastic, memorable day we had with RedRib. This tour was so unique, interesting, fun and filled with warm hospitality - we were treated as friends - not tourists! Its hard to articulate the extraordinary sensation of travelling through this gorgeous island-dotted region in a small ice-breaking boat - then getting kitted out in the survival suits to walk, play and jump into the ice-filled water ..the floating sensation was other-worldly! The extra bonus was the tour/walk into Simsalo Island, and the most welcome and delicious salmon soup alfresco lunch on board the boat - Finnish perfection!. Make this tour a must-do from Helsinki - thanks again Red Rib

Jump in! - We had a fun afternoon doing this excursion! There was no ice because of how warm it was in Helsinki, but it was still a great time. Very knowledgeable hosts who kept it informative while still being exciting. You get warm wool socks and a warm wool sweater to put on but wear warm layers/socks to wear underneath! Have fun swimming around, floating, and jumping in!

A Survival Hot Tub - Unique and amazing experience! Ollie guide, super friendly and with excellent data from Finland. A tour that was scary but turned out to be quite an adventure! I'd do it again.

Unique experience - Despite the cold temperatures just above freezing, we did not get cold in the suits. We were 45min in the water. A mega relaxing and unique experience!

Well worth it - What an excellent day. It is expensive but well worth the money. It’s a great experience made all the more enjoyable by Olli the instructor who is really interesting to listen to and passionate about his work. A big thank you too Red Rib.
