Helsinki Walking Tour - We were so glad we found this tour back in early December. Our guide Eero was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the sights of Helsinki. Such an enjoyable and informative walk around the city. We would recommend this tour to anyone.

Helsinki local flavour - We had a great time with Red Umbrella. Explanations were clear and accurate. Our guide, EERO, was able to stimulate our curiosity all the time with specific questions and with details that only a local would know and you wouldn't find in any other travel book. He also provided useful info about places to visit or restaurants with typical finnish cuisine. As it was a bit cold outside, he adjusted the tour to increase the number of stops at indoor places. Definitely an excellent experience with Red Umbrella. Highly recommended.

Worth starting your Helsinki vacay with this tour - Exploring Helsinki on foot is worth it . If you’re visiting in the winter months warm clothes and good walking shoes are a must . I left the tour with more knowledge but also deep respect for the Finnish culture . This tour is worth it ! Ps ask the guide for recommendations or tips . It helped immensely ensuring what things might be worth visiting or exploring !

Definitely worth it! - Anastasia was brilliant! We visited Helsinki just before Christmas when it was busy with the markets. She skilfully negotiated the crowds without losing any of us. She was very knowledgeable on history, architecture and the current social seen. Things were well explained with a lovely accent and she had a good sense of humour as well. I wouldn’t hesitate in taking this tour, you will learn so much more than just wandering around the city.

I did this tour twice!... - I did this tour twice! Marius and Anastasia were so great! Loved their individual styles of sharing Finland’s history and architecture with us. They were so knowledgeable and didn’t mind anyone asking questions out of curiosity. Anastasia’s attentive and interactive style was lovely while Marius’s sense of humour was refreshing and entertaining. Loved going back twice with two different guides for two different takes!

A great tour on my 1 day trip - I was given a guided tour by Val (I think that was her name, she is Argentinian). We visited a lot of historical and important places, Val was very knowledgeable and happy to answer all questions. The tour is tip-based, so depending on where you book through, a charge is applied. This charge does not go to the tour guide, it goes to the booking company. I was only in Helsinki for the day, getting the ferry over from Tallinn, but I feel like I saw all the main attractions in the short 2 hour tour.

Walking Tour - Valeria was very friendly and knowledgeable and showed us the main areas & buildings of interest with added information and history. It gives you an idea of places you might like to visit properly such as inside the cathedrals or library. It was a very large group but for a tip-based tour it gave us a flavour of the city.
