Guests will be picked up from their hotel in the morning between 07:20 and 08:00 AM. They will be transported to the Helsinki terminal to board a cruise ship bound for Tallinn.
Upon arrival at the port of Tallinn, a tour guide will greet the guests and lead them on a walking tour of the medieval Old Town of Tallinn, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
After the 3-hour guided tour concludes, guests will have 3 hours of free time to enjoy lunch, shop, and take photos in the Old Town before the tour guide escorts them to the Tallinn harbor for the return cruise to Helsinki.
During the cruise, guests can enjoy onboard entertainment, explore duty-free shopping, savor the exquisite buffet, or relax on the ship’s deck while admiring the stunning Baltic coastline.

Great tour - Well organised day and Anastasia was an incredible guide! She was knowledgeable and showed us so much in the guided part. Also lots of free time to get food and souvenirs!

Tip Top Time in Tallinn - Our local travel arrangements for Helsinki-Tallinn round trip ferry plus tour were conducted through JEE TRAVELS OY. The trip is a worthy experience and will fill your day-- pick up at your Kampii area hotel perhaps 7:30am and returning to same 9pm. The single, slightly stressful part of the trip was the procedure that your ferry ticket information will not be emailed to you until 12 hours prior to initial departure-- make very sure you coordinate with JEE exactly the expected mechanism and multiple contact modalities (i.e. your email vs WhatsApp vs Booking Portal). I did find the tour operators to be competent, helpful, and prompt, walking us through the process all the way to the line for actual boarding. The Eckert Line ferry Finlandia was a big girl, with multiple lounges, small entertainment stages, several restaurants including a buffet aft (which could serve as a timely choice for dinner as you have lined up to reboard for return trip at 5pm). This ship took approximately 2.5h for the transit to Tallinn, with everybody boarding with a different plan-- some will grab seats near charging ports for their phones, others park at a cocktail table in a lounge, others wander the ship-- I chose the open air sundeck (main area for those wishing to smoke) for the sea air and views. The outside temp remained mild (10C/45F) with a light breeze. Food was relatively inexpensive, maybe 20eu for breakfast, 10eu for light sandwich, etc. The approach to Tallinn is impressive, with the Old Town rising above most modern construction, and historically it holds its own among the best found in Europe. Our guide Anastasia was delightful, knowledgeable, and recommended various places as only a local could (e.g. where would the Czar buy his marzipan? best soup in Old Town?) A great experience overall, especially those interested in Scandinavian/Baltic history and culture.

We had an excellent time... - We had an excellent time on our walking tour in Tallinn. Roman was a great guide! He was super knowledgeable and had a fun and outgoing personality. The pick-up and drop-off service at our hotel was amazing! The drivers were nice and personable. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Helsinki.

Wonderful tour! The local... - Wonderful tour! The local guide in Tallinn was knowledge, engaging and fun. We had a great time and the solo exploring time was just right for food, shopping, and sightseeing.

Very Full Day Tour - Helsinki to Talinn! - This is a fantastic, very full day tour. There's an early pick up to make the ferry to Talinn. The ferry is *huge*. And there's not a lot of seating (at least during Easter week). So we beelined for a room in the 8th deck to grab seats.
In Talinn, we had plenty of time to go around and explore. Once the tour was done we had another few hours to eat lunch and explore more before the 2.25 hour ferry back. The ferries are very punctual and boarding closes 30 minutes before.

Great walking tour in Tallinn - Our guide was very informative. Very good tour with a very good guide who made the tour both interesting and amusing. Nice to have driver pick up from Hotel and deliver back. High recommend.

Day Trip to Tallinn from Helsinki - The experience was seamless from start to finish. We were picked up at our hotel, dropped off at the port and met at the port in Tallinn, with no problems. Our guide was great and the tour was fun and well run.

Tour very good; ferry NOT - Helsinki to Tallin ferry trip was a nightmare. Not enough seats for passengers, people sitting on the floor and stairs. Boarding ship was a free for all - shoving , pushing, running.
Our tour guide was very informative and van pick up on both ends very nice. But the ferry experience for over two hours was Not Good. And there were Comfort seats available for 10 Euros more- why were those not provided to Viator customers?!?
