Southern tour of Reykjavik - Book this one if you want a private tour - the guides are fabulous!! - Grace and Katarzyna from Family and Friends tours were absolutely fantastic guides. They wanted to show us everything they could of this beautiful country and took us on the dramatic south coast tour. It was worth doing this privately as we were able to get to everything fairly quickly once we arrived as the drive is about 2 and a half hours from Reykjavik itself. The tour company provided great snacks and as 2 of our group were vegan, also made sure that there were plenty of snacks they could eat too. On the tour itself we visited two very dramatic waterfalls, (climbed a lot of steps to get to the top of one!) saw a glacier, and went to the black beach. Everything was incredibly impressive and well worth the time. We were on a cruise so were a bit limited for time and hadn't seen the town of Reykjavik, so Grace at Katarzyna took us around the town as well at the end. We will definitely be back and would use this tour company again. Just one thing- If you do go on this tour (which you should) take a change of clothes as you do get wet!!
