Pyramids of Giza and Saqqara - Memphis
Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - “The most prominent feature of Saqqara is the Step Pyramid, the tomb of the Third Dynasty ruler Djoser or Zoser, constructed by Imhotep and considered the earliest major stone structure in Egypt. The pyramid’s form evolved from the large mastabas (mud-brick tombs) of the First and Second Dynasties; the six steps, each smaller than the one below, were created by adding successive layers of masonry to the original mastaba, enlarging the lower stages.
The Step Pyramid stands 60 meters tall and is made of locally quarried clay sandstone of poor quality. Entry into the pyramid is no longer permitted due to safety concerns. The interior chambers and passages were used partly for the burial of the King’s close relatives (particularly sons who died in childhood) and partly for storing grave goods for the deceased.”
Pyramids of Giza - The Giza pyramids and Sphinx are not only top attractions in Egypt but are also must-see ancient monuments. The Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx are likely the most renowned ancient sites globally and the only remaining wonder of the Ancient Seven Wonders of the World. A trip to Egypt is incomplete without visiting the Pyramids of Giza. Even if the operator has visited Egypt multiple times, the Pyramids should be visited each time. The pyramids and the Sphinx at the base of the Giza plateau are iconic images of Egypt. Don’t forget to take a photo in front of the Pyramids and Sphinx.
Memphis and Sakkara - Memphis was the ancient capital of Aneb-Hetch, the first nome of Lower Egypt. Its ruins are near the town of Mit Rahina and feature the largest statue made by man, the great statue of King Ramses II, and the alabaster sphinx of Queen Hatshepsut.

Grand Egyptian Museum - The Grand Egyptian Museum, located near the Pyramids of Giza, is one of the world’s largest and most impressive archaeological museums. It houses over 100,000 artifacts spanning Egypt’s history from prehistoric times to the Greco-Roman era.
The museum’s highlight is the complete collection of Tutankhamun, displayed together for the first time. Visitors can also admire colossal statues, royal mummies, intricate jewelry, and beautifully carved reliefs. The modern architecture, glass façade, and Grand Staircase create a stunning setting with panoramic pyramid views.
Coptic Cairo - Coptic Cairo is part of Old Cairo, encompassing the Babylon Fortress, the Coptic Museum, the Hanging Church, the Greek Church of St. George, and many other Coptic churches and historical sites.
Khan Al-Khalili - Khan el-Khalili is a major market in the historic center of Islamic Cairo. The bazaar district is a main attraction for both tourists and Egyptians.
Nile Cruise - Aswan
Cairo International Airport - Travel from Cairo to Aswan by air to embark on a 3-night cruise.
Temple of Philae - One of Nubia’s most significant monument sites, the Temples of Philae, located 12 kilometers south of Aswan, was an ancient pilgrimage center for the cult of Isis and has captivated travelers for centuries. This sacred site was revered from the Pharaonic era to the Greek, Roman, and Byzantine periods, with each ruler leaving their mark on the stones. Saved from submersion by UNESCO’s rescue project, which relocated the monuments block by block from Philae Island to Agilika Island, the temples continue to enchant visitors today.
Crocodile Temple & Falcon Temple - Nile Cruise
Temple of Horus - This Ptolemaic temple, built between 237 and 57 BC, is one of Egypt’s best-preserved ancient monuments. Preserved by desert sand after the pagan cult was banned, the temple is dedicated to Horus, the avenging son of Isis and Osiris. With its roof intact, it is also one of the most atmospheric ancient buildings.
Temple of Kom Ombo - The Temple of Kom Ombo is a unique double temple in the town of Kom Ombo in Aswan Governorate, Upper Egypt. It was constructed during the Ptolemaic dynasty, 180–47 BC. The southern half of the temple was dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek, god of fertility and creator of the world, along with Hathor and Khonsu.
Discover Luxor Wonders
Valley of the Kings - “The Valley of Kings is the ancient burial ground of many of Egypt’s New Kingdom Pharaohs. A truly impressive site! There, the operator will find Tutankhamen’s tomb, discovered almost intact in 1922, and the tomb of Ramses IV, among others. A ticket allows visiting 3 of the 63 tombs on site, except Tutankhamen’s tomb.
The tombs have suffered greatly from treasure hunters, past floods, and in recent years, from mass tourism: carbon dioxide, friction, and humidity from flash photography inside the tombs, along with the average of 2.8g of sweat left by each visitor, have affected the reliefs and pigments of the wall paintings. The Ministry of Antiquities has installed dehumidifiers and glass screens in the worst-affected tombs and introduced a rotation system for opening tombs to the public while restoring others.”
Temple of Hatshepsut - “The temple of the formidable lady, the first lady of ancient Egypt, Her Majesty Queen Hatshepsut. This woman ruled Egypt for about 16 years after her brother-husband Thutmose II. She built this temple as a funerary temple and ruled Egypt as a male king because women were not allowed to rule. She married her brother to justify her right to the throne.
Moreover, Queen Hatshepsut married her stepson Thutmose III and kept him in the shadows for 16 years. When he became an adult, he killed her and became the king of Egypt. As an act of revenge, he destroyed everything related to this queen. When visiting her temple on the west bank, the operator will find that he removed all her names from the walls.
The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut has a unique style consisting of 3 floors cut into the cliffs of the Valley of the Kings. Queen Hatshepsut was buried in the Valley of the Kings with the pharaohs. Her mummy was discovered in the Egyptian Museum storerooms and is now displayed in the Mummy room.”
Colossi of Memnon - The Colossi of Memnon are two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, who reigned in Egypt during the 18th Dynasty. For the past 3,400 years, they have stood in the Theban Necropolis, located west of the River Nile from the modern city of Luxor.
Temple of Karnak - Karnak Temple is a vast temple complex in Luxor dedicated primarily to Amun, dating from as early as 2000 BC. It is an impressive sight, second only to the Great Pyramids in popularity.
Luxor Temple - Luxor Temple is a large Ancient Egyptian temple complex located on the east bank of the Nile River in the city now known as Luxor, constructed around 1400 BCE. In the Egyptian language, it is known as Ipet Resyt, “the southern sanctuary.”
