Exploring Saqqara, Memphis, Giza Pyramids, and Sphinx

Pyramids of Giza - At 8:00 am, after breakfast, your tour guide will meet you in the hotel lobby to begin your journey to Memphis, the oldest capital in history. Enjoy a one-hour guided tour of the open-air museum, showcasing significant statues, including the Statue of Ramses II. Next, visit the Sakkara Necropolis, exploring key sites such as the 6-step Pyramid complex and the Pyramid of King Teti. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, savoring authentic Egyptian cuisine. Afterwards, visit the Papyrus Institute for a brief 30-minute session on the history of paper. The highlight of the tour is the Giza Pyramids, where you’ll spend three hours with stops at the Great Pyramid, a panoramic view of the three pyramids, and the valley temple and Sphinx. Conclude with a visit to the Oils Salon before returning to your hotel.

Alexandria Day Tour and Travel to Aswan

Alexandria - At 7:00 am, check out and head to Alexandria, then return to Giza train station for your sleeper train to Aswan. Discover the blend of Greek, Roman, and ancient Egyptian art at the Catacombs, featuring three floors and a main tomb with preserved carvings. Visit the 3rd Century Pompey’s Pillar, a 25-meter red Aswan granite column, the last relic of the Seraphim Temple. Learn about the Alexandrian Fortress, built by Sultan Qaitbay after the 11th-century earthquake destroyed the lighthouse. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before heading back to Giza Train Station for your 8:15 pm train to Aswan, arriving at 10:00 am.

Arrival in Aswan, High Dam, and Philae Temple Visit

Aswan - Upon arrival at Aswan Train Station, meet your local tour representative to begin your tour. Visit the High Dam and Philae Temple, then check-in for an overnight stay in Aswan. There’s an option to visit Abu Simbel Temple early the next morning. Enjoy lunch on board, afternoon tea, dinner, and an evening disco party.

Visiting Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples

Luxor Temple - Sail to Kom Ombo to explore the temple dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile-god, and Haroeris, the falcon-god. Sail to Edfu to visit the Ptolemaic Temple of Horus and the ancient settlement known as Apollinòpolis. After lunch, cross the lock and sail to Luxor, enjoying dinner and an overnight stay on board.

Touring the West Bank of Luxor

Karnak Open Air Museum - After breakfast, cross the Nile to the West Bank to explore the Necropolis of Thebes, Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Luxor is renowned as the world’s greatest open-air museum, with unparalleled preserved monuments. Focus on the West Bank, visiting the Valley of the Kings and Queens, and admire the Colossi of Memnon and the Temple of Hatshepsut. Return to your boat for dinner and a final overnight stay on board.

Visiting Karnak Temple, Overnight in Luxor

Luxor - Visit the East Bank of Luxor to explore Karnak Temple, the second most visited site in Egypt after the Pyramids of Giza. Transfer to a Luxor hotel for an overnight stay to enjoy the city.

Islamic and Coptic Cairo

Coptic Cairo - Early morning, check out and transfer to Luxor Airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, your tour guide will take you to the Egyptian Museum for a two-hour visit, followed by tours of three historic churches in Coptic Cairo, the Saladin Citadel, and the Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before returning to your Cairo hotel for your final night in Egypt.
