Explore the Great Pyramids of Giza, Sphinx, Sakkara, and Memphis
Giza Plateau - After breakfast, embark on a tour of the Pyramids and Sphinx. Begin with the Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, constructed by pharaohs between 2590 BC and 2480 BC. You’ll have the opportunity to explore the Great Pyramid and enter the Queen’s Pyramid.
Discover the mysteries of the Sphinx, one of the largest monolithic statues in history. After capturing beautiful photos, proceed to Sakkara to see the Step Pyramid of King Zoser, the oldest pyramid in Egypt. Next, visit Memphis, Egypt’s first capital, where you’ll find the grand statue of King Ramses the Great, a prominent ruler of the New Kingdom.
Return to Cairo for another night at your hotel.
Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - The Step Pyramid, the tomb of the Third Dynasty ruler Djoser, was built by Imhotep and is considered the earliest major stone structure in Egypt. The pyramid’s form evolved from large mastabas, with six steps added to the original structure.
Standing 60 meters high, the Step Pyramid is made of locally quarried clay sandstone. Entry is restricted for safety reasons. The pyramid’s chambers and passages were used for the burial of the king’s close relatives and for storing grave goods.
Mit Rahina Museum - Memphis, the ancient capital of Aneb-Hetch, is located near Mit Rahina.

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - Known as the Egyptian Museum, it houses a vast collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts, with 120,000 items, some on display and others in storage.
Khan Al-Khalili - A major souk in the historic center of Islamic Cairo, Khan el-Khalili is a popular attraction for both tourists and locals.
Coptic Cairo - Part of Old Cairo, Coptic Cairo includes the Babylon Fortress, Coptic Museum, Hanging Church, Greek Church of St. George, and other historical sites. Christian tradition holds that the Holy Family visited this area, staying at Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church (Abu Serga). Coptic Cairo was a Christian stronghold until the Islamic era, with most current church buildings constructed after the 7th-century Muslim conquest.
