Day 1 - The Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx

Pyramids of Giza - Upon arrival at Cairo airport, a representative will escort you to your hotel in Cairo for check-in and preparation for your day tour.

Begin your adventure by visiting the pyramids of Giza - Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. After exploring these iconic pyramids, proceed to the Valley Temple. Here, you can admire the Great Sphinx up close - the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and the head of King Chephren, standing by the vast funeral complex.

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - Continue your tour at the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, which houses the world’s largest and most valuable collection of Egyptian art.

The museum features a rare collection of over 250,000 authentic artifacts dating back 5,000 years, including a special exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen. This collection includes treasures, gold, and jewelry that were buried in his tomb for over 3,500 years until their discovery in 1920.

Conclude your day by passing through Tahrir Square, the birthplace of the Egyptian revolution in 2011, before being dropped off at your hotel.

Day 2 - Memphis, Sakkara, and Dahshour

Memphis and Sakkara - Depart from your hotel to enjoy a Cairo Day Tour to Memphis, Sakkara, and the Dahshur Pyramids. Begin with the Step Pyramid at Sakkara, the world’s oldest major stone structure, built during the 3rd Dynasty for King Djoser. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before transferring to Memphis, founded by King Menes. As Egypt’s capital during the Old Kingdom, it was a cultural and political hub for over 3,000 years. Here, view the Statue of Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphinx of Memphis.

Bent Pyramid - Next, travel to Dahshur, where time and the elements have destroyed some pyramids, such as the Black Pyramid (12th Dynasty, 1929-1885 BC). However, Dahshur is home to two of Egypt’s best-preserved early pyramids. Built during King Sneferu’s reign (2613-2589 BC), the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid at Dahshur showcase the architectural advancements leading to the Great Pyramid and its companions at Giza. Return to your hotel afterward.

Day 3 - Cairo - Old Cairo

Old Egypt For Fine Art - Begin your day at 08:00 am with a pick-up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza by your Egyptologist tour guide. Enjoy an 8-hour excursion exploring the major monuments of Old Cairo and the historic Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Start with a drive to the Saladin Citadel, built by Salah al-Din on the Moqattam Hills in 1183 AD as a defense against Crusader armies. Known for its fresh air and panoramic views of Cairo, it is now a preserved historic site featuring mosques and museums, including the Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha.

Khan Al-Khalili - Visit Old Cairo to see key attractions such as the Hanging Church, the Ben Ezra Synagogue, the Church of St. Barbara, and the Church of Abu Serga, one of Cairo’s oldest Coptic churches.

Continue to the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, one of the Middle East’s oldest bazaars. Explore a labyrinth of alleys that have been central to Cairo’s trade since the 14th century.

Mosque of Muhammad Ali - The Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha, designed by Turkish architect Yousif Boushnaq, who traveled from Istanbul to Cairo to construct this magnificent building, stands in striking contrast to the sandstone city with its alabaster structure.
