Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Continue to Saqqara, located just 27 km southwest of Cairo. Visit the Step Pyramid (built for King Zoser), the world’s oldest major stone structure, considered a significant part of pyramid evolution, transitioning from the simple mastaba to its well-known form. This pyramid was constructed during the Third Dynasty of Ancient Egypt 4,800 years ago. Also, visit the Tombs of the Nobles in Saqqara to learn more about the daily life of ancient Egyptian noblemen.

Pyramids of Dahshour - Continue exploring and then transfer south to visit the Red Pyramid and Bent Pyramid at Dahshur. This famous royal necropolis in Egypt is located in the desert on the West Bank of the Nile, approximately 40 kilometers (25 miles) south of Cairo. It is renowned for its many famous pyramids, two of which are among the oldest, largest, and best-preserved in Egypt, built from 2613–2589 BC; the Red and Bent Pyramids of King Snefru.

At the end of the day, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo or Giza.

Alexandria Day Trip from Cairo

Ancient Roman Theater, Alexandria - An expert tour guide will pick you up at 7:00 am from your hotel in either Cairo or Giza to Alexandria, which is 220 km away from Cairo. Arrive in Alexandria around 10 am and start your day tour by visiting the Roman Theater, a theater with marble seats for up to 800 spectators, galleries, sections of mosaic flooring, and a pleasure garden surrounded by Roman villas and baths.

Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa - Next, visit The Catacomb of Kom El-Shoqafa, one of the world’s largest Roman burial sites and one of Alexandria’s most popular attractions.
