The area around Karnak was the main place of worship for the Theban Triad, with the god Amun as its head, during the 18th Dynasty.
Luxor Temple - The Luxor Temple, constructed around 1400 BC, was dedicated to the rejuvenation of kingship. The rear of the temple features chapels built by Amenhotep III of the 18th Dynasty and Alexander. Dinner will be served on board, followed by a belly dance show.
Luxor West Bank
Valley of the Kings - After breakfast, disembark to visit the Valley of the Kings, a valley in Egypt where rock-cut tombs were excavated for pharaohs and powerful nobles of the New Kingdom over nearly 500 years, from the 16th to 11th century BC.
