Step Pyramid of Djoser - This morning, your private guide will pick you up for a full-day tour of the pyramids at Giza and Saqqara. Begin in chronological order by visiting the step pyramid of Saqqara, the first capital of ancient Egypt. This is the oldest pyramid in Egypt, dating back to 4800 B.C., built by King Djoser, before exploring the famous pyramids at Giza.
Pyramids of Giza - Stop for a lunch break (optional) then continue visiting the Giza Plateau to explore the world-famous pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, Mycrenos, and the Sphinx; these structures have stood tall for 4500 years. Discover the beauty of the Sphinx, one of the largest monolithic statues in history, enjoy the views, and take remarkable pictures. Your local Egyptology guide will be a wealth of knowledge and full of enthusiasm about Egyptian history and their country in general. Return to your hotel in Cairo. Then, around 7 pm, our English-speaking driver will pick you up for the first-class sitting train to Luxor or Aswan.

Aswan Arrival Transfer to Nile Cruise & Aswan Tours
Aswan - Upon arrival in Aswan, our licensed tour guide will meet and assist you at Aswan Railway Station to be transferred by A/C van to your 5-star Nile Cruise to check in before lunch. Enjoy lunch on board.
Aswan High Dam - Begin your tour by visiting the High Dam, completed in 1960 to protect Egypt from flooding and generate electricity.
Temple of Philae - Proceed to visit the Graeco-Roman Temple dedicated to the goddess Isis using a small motorboat to get there. Later, return to your cruise for dinner, a folkloric show, and overnight in Aswan.
Note: If your arrival in Aswan is early, we will start the tour directly upon arrival since the cruise check-in time is at 12:00, and we don’t want our guests to waste time waiting in the lobby for check-in.
Abu Simbel Temples and Navigation to Kom Ombo Temple
Abu Simbel Temple Complex - Around 4:30, your guide will pick you up for the Abu Simbel trip (sharing a small group). Arrive around 8 am to visit one of the most impressive places in Egypt; the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel with their unique design built for King Ramesses II and his beloved Queen Nefertari. This amazing site was completely dismantled and rebuilt when Lake Nasser was flooded.
Temple of Kom Ombo - Return to the cruise by noon (around 1:00 pm) to have your lunch and sail towards Kom Ombo city, where you will visit the amazing temple of Kom Ombo dedicated to two gods: Horus (the falcon god) and Sobek (the crocodile god). You will also visit the Crocodile Museum. Return to the cruise and have dinner. Continue sailing to Edfu for overnight.
Edfu Temple and Arrive Luxor (visit Luxor Temple)
Temple of Horus - After breakfast, enjoy a horse carriage ride with your tour guide to visit the temple of Horus at Edfu, which is considered the most complete and best-preserved of all the Egyptian temples. Return to the cruise. Relax on the deck watching the unique landscape and admire the beautiful scenery of the Nile River while sailing to Luxor. Lunch on board. Afternoon tea on the sundeck. Passing through the Esna lock to Luxor.
Luxor Temple - Luxor was built on and around the ancient site of Thebes and has the greatest concentration of ancient ruins in the Nile Valley, if not the world. Across the Nile lies the City of the Dead, with its mortuary temples and rock-carved tombs. To the east stand the Temples of Luxor and Karnak. Late in the afternoon, arrive at Luxor harbor to visit Luxor Temple, which is in the center of town and is colorfully lit up by night, where ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic features are exhibited. Dinner on board and a belly dancing show. Overnight in Luxor.

Valley of the Kings - Enjoy breakfast and check out to start your remarkable day by driving to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs from the New Kingdom carved their tombs in the mountains aiming to hide their treasures and protect their mummies.
Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - Then visit the Mortuary temple of the famous Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. End your tour in the West Bank with a photo stop in front of the gigantic statues of Memnon. Lunchtime in a local restaurant (optional).
Temple of Karnak - Then visit the massive temple of Karnak. It was linked to the town of Luxor by a long sphinx-lined avenue. Inside the large courtyard are three temples. The much-photographed Hypostyle Hall has an impressive 134 towering columns, each carved with scenes of gods and pharaohs, and hieroglyphic inscriptions cover the walls.
Luxor Railway Station - Then, head to Luxor Train Station to take your evening first-class sitting train back to Cairo.
Alexandria Day Trip from Cairo
City Centre Alexandria - Pick-up at Cairo train station to start a full-day tour to Alexandria from Cairo. Drive for about 3 hours to Alexandria. Both these churches were built into the walls of the Babylon Fortress, and their remains could be Cairo’s oldest structures. Visit the Church of St. Sergius next before driving back to your hotel.
Khan Al-Khalili - Cairo’s Khan al-Khalili Bazaar is an essential Egyptian experience – lose yourself in the colors and aromas of this fascinating marketplace.
