Tour Helen - Had a great experience walking the 2 mile tour with our guide today. Tour was a great combination of past and recent history explaining how Helen got started. We toured a few businesses like the Bavarian clock store and the candy store. A lot of fun!

Definitely worth your time. - It was a fantastic experience. Great price for the tour. He was very knowledgeable with facts and cool information about the town. Really got to see all of it while we were learning as well. Super friendly. Also gave recommendations on what all to do and see and where to eat. An amazing time was had.

Interesting history of Helen - If you are interested in history about Helen and the area, Brent has done his research. Not a lot of people in Helen know any history, so it was great to finally learn about the area.

Cute but expensive - Beautiful small town but very expensive. Mostly gift shops and food. The river tubing was the busiest and stream is cold on a hot day. Mountain coaster nice but short but a nice ride. Food is very expensive. Nice trip but not worth going back

Leisurely Tour Through The Alpine Culture of Helen, GA - This 2 hour tour was informative regarding how the town of Helen was established. It is a walking tour on flat surfaces (sidewalks primarily). There are a few steps down to the Chattahoochee River. Reasonable priced. We were not able to do the mining experience due to the colder weather. We were able to get the history of how the gold rush really started near Helen (and not California)!! If you are looking for an off the beaten path experience, this is not the tour for you. We vistied many sites that you can explore on your own - minus the history that Emma our guide was excellent in providing. She's very knowledgeable, fun, and made sure to point out architecture and artwork created by the cities founders. She provided excellent recommendations in the area for dining as well as additional exploration. It was amazing to see Helen all decorated for the Christmas season. The Holiday Markets and were fun to explore. Although the tour doesn't include a tour of the wineries, it is worthwhile to visit a few to experience the beauty of the countryside. Overall, this tour was pleasant but we did a lot of back-tracking. The two hours goes quick! We enjoyed taking in the town and fresh air. Good tour to get your bearings where you want to spend more time exploring, shopping, or eating!
