Quality Tour with a Professional Guide - This is a good tour. Maik is friendly, knowledgeable (you won't believe the history lesson you'll get), and flexible. He was very accommodating to our special needs, and made our day quite enjoyable. My only caution to a prospective client is to understand that, in spite of the title of the tour being "from Frankfurt", there is an additional charge involved if you choose to be picked up in Frankfurt. Otherwise, I would not hesitate to recommend this tour.

10 out of 10 Heidelberg Tour - This is by far one of the best private tours we’ve ever taken, Maik (Mike) was absolutely excellent guide, very knowledgeable and stayed with us throughout the tour. We had an excellent tour of the castle, the old city and the best was the restaurant for our German lunch. Definitely refer Maik and this tour to anyone visiting Frankfurt or the area.

Great experience and flexible host - Maik was a terrific guide. Very knowledgeable and communicative. He spoke English extremely well and was very informative. He made clear any details about pick up and the tour days before. When our scheduled guide became very ill prior to trip, he gave us several options to reschedule including a full refund, moving to another date with an additional stop added or another guide.

Don't miss this Heidelberg tour! - Michael was delightful. Full of knowledge and able to deliver in a wonderfully entertaining way. If there was a quiet time, he would flip through the vast knowledge base in his head and deliver something culturally or historically interesting. He always allowed for questions, if we had them, and if we didn't, he just went through his knowledge base to find something to entertain us.

Awesome private tour experience!! - We really enjoyed our time with Maik on this tour. The conversation was both informative and enjoyable. He made allowances for a less than sunny day for us to get the best shots possible and to see things with the best view. The castle tour was excellent. We enjoyed learning all about the history of the castle. Lunch was very good and he really took the time to help us understand the dishes on the menu and gave us great recommendations. Maik gave us valuable, cultural insights and ensured that our day was a wonderful time spent in Heidelberg. Definitely recommend!!

Definitely worth a visit to Heidelberg - This trip to Heidelberg was well worth it The area is beautiful and the castle tour was great We had a lovely time and lunch in a small genuine German restaurant was a highlight Would have preferred an earlier start as with a one hour drive you don’t get to Heidelberg until after 11 am this means lunch was pushed back to 2-30 which made our return to Frankfurt at 6-00pm We also would have liked some time to wander the shops but time did not allow Overall a good day in a very beautiful place,

RUDE GUIDE/ RUINED DAY - Michael Maus was by far the worst Tour Guide we have ever had. Rude and condescending, right from the start. He ruined our tour day of Heidelberg- and we had to spend over 6 hours in his company. We couldn’t wait to get away from him. Don’t book a tour with this man.
