Fantastic experience! - Wonderful trip with the beautiful family sloop from Luxe Sloepen Haarlem. I had no experience with sailing, but this was no problem at all. The boats are easy to use and the instructions and routes are very clear. In short, a great experience and fun to discover Haarlem and the surrounding area from the water. Relaxed afternoon on the Spaarne - We had a wonderfully relaxing afternoon on the Spaarne with our family. We enjoyed the view and the comfort of the sloop. Upon arrival we received clear instructions from Niek. Afterwards he was ready again to help us moor. So friendly and quick help.

Wonderful day with a beautiful sloop. - About a week ago we rented a luxury sloop for Sunday, May 12 for 4 hours. This was very easy via the website. Everything was also neatly confirmed and a text message with a reminder and a link was sent 24 hours in advance. Once we arrived at the location, there was a young lad who gave us the boat. This guy was not very talkative and he did not explain himself how everything worked. But if you asked something, you got a nice answer. We chose to sail the long route. but due to the crowds on the water and 1 stop to let the dog swim, 4 hours is actually just too short. It was no longer possible to make additional bookings because the boat was rented again after us to the next lucky person. We really enjoyed the boat and of course the beautiful weather. We were 5 people and a dog. You will then have more than enough space on board. The speed limit of the boat is good, but when it is busy and you want to sail with the other boats (which go a little faster) then that is not possible (in most places you are not allowed to go faster than 6 km per hour). Because the boat is quite long, the wind can sometimes get a grip on the boat. This sometimes means you have to steer a little more. In addition, I had the feeling that there is a loose part in the steering mechanism where you have no transmission to the rudder, so you have to look / feel for the correct position of the rudder (I have my sailing licenses and often sail boats and sloops). but I haven't felt this before. We certainly had a good experience and are very satisfied.
