A Journey Back in Time

As we set off from Healy, the anticipation of experiencing the Alaskan wilderness in a horse-drawn covered wagon was palpable. My husband and I were picked up promptly by the friendly driver from Black Diamond Resort, and soon we found ourselves amidst the bustling activity of the ranch. The sight of four majestic Conestoga wagons, each drawn by powerful draft horses, was a sight to behold. The evening was cool yet pleasant, a perfect backdrop for our 30-minute ride through the breathtaking Alaskan countryside.
