Pick up your bike between 10am and 12pm at our location in Ash Ridge Wines’ vineyard. Once ready, put on your helmet, get on the saddle, and pedal through the beautiful New Zealand countryside to start your self-guided cycling tour.

Armed with your winery map, navigate the flat, winding paths through the heart of the Hawke’s Bay wine region. Stop by the wineries that catch your interest and explore the wide variety of wines with a tasting session (at your own expense).

You might choose to visit wineries such as Paritua Vineyard, Sileni Wines, Alpha Domus, Oak Estate, Ash Ridge Wines, Trinity Hill Unison Vineyard, or Stonecroft. Depending on the number of wineries you visit and the duration of your stops, your tour will likely last between four and six hours. Enjoy a leisurely lunch (at your own expense) with a view of the vineyards at Sileni Wines, Ash Ridge, Trinity Hill, Unison, or Oak Estate before continuing to the next winery.

With roadside assistance available for any issues, such as a flat tire, and to collect any wine purchases from the wineries (during the summer season only), you can relax and enjoy your day.

Conclude your ride by returning your bike to the starting point by 4pm to complete your tour.

Visit locations such as Abbey Cellars, Alpha Domus, Sileni Estate, Villa Maria Gimblett Gravels, Unison Vineyard, Stonecroft, or Trinity Hill, and perhaps enjoy sampling (at your own expense) some of the varied wines available. This independent self-guided cycling tour includes all necessary equipment and roadside assistance.
